The Party Somewhere Else Festival 2019! - Nottingham Playhouse - Nottingham

SISTERS ARE DOING IT FOR THEMSELVES - AND EVERYONE IS INVITED! After the success of our 2018 festival, we're bringing you another celebratory week of the best performances made by women and non-binary artists!Expect world-class theatre, poetry, workshops, comedy and cabaret in a joyful celebration that punches the patriarchy where it hurts! Our shows include a "voyeuristic”, site specific, choose your own adventure performance, a blood-soaked morality tale that flips the gender rule book on psychopathy, a bisexual Bridget Jones for the online generation and, a musical improv show made up on the spot. Plus a live podcast recording of Feminists Don’t Wear Pink.Tickets are available through the Nottingham Playhouse Website NEW FOR 2019 - THE PARTY SOMEWHERE ELSE TICKET FUNDWe've extended our Outreach work to ensure as many people as possible are able to access our events. We've put some money aside to create a fund for people who would like to attend our events but cannot afford a ticket. If you would like to attend one of our events but cannot afford a ticket, email thepartysomewhereelse@gmail.com, or call/text 07375665140 with your ticket request (max 2 tickets per request) and we'll book and pay for tickets for you and arrange for you to collect them. We'll keep doing this as long as there is money available. We've put some money in the pot, and you can too - if you'd like to contribute and cover the cost of an extra ticket (or tickets!) for someone else, you can make a one-off donation or sign up to contribute monthly. You'll enable us to offer more free tickets to people who might not otherwise be able to attend. In other words, with your help, more people can come to the party. And we will love you forever for it, we promise. You can donate money to the ticket fund via a Paypal transfer to thepartysomewhereelse@gmail.com or via Patreon.com/thepartysomewhereelse.
