In a small bowl add coconut oil and heat in a microwave for a few seconds until it melts. Add polysorbate 80 and red velvet scent. Mix wet ingredients together, then add those to the dry ingredients. The goal is a wet sand like consistency that just holds together with no clumps. If it's still a little dry after adding all the coconut oil and essential oils (meaning it doesn't hold together yet), add a tiny amount of water, say 1/2 of a teaspoon or a small spray and mix again. First, your mixture may be too dry. Here in Canada our air is so dry that if I follow this recipe my mix is too dry right from the beginning, so I need to add a little extra coconut oil.
