This is about as perfect an accessory as I could think to include with him, and he’s a lot of fun to pose with it. I guess my question is Is pinless figures worth getting more than the pinned but with more accessories? I thought it was a sure thing we’d see the teleportation ring from the recent Blink figure reused here, but nope! Yeah, there’s some bleed through on the red paint, which is a shame, but surprisingly there’s none at all on the white.

I started collecting Marvel Legends at the right time for X-Men, (I started on the Juggernaut BAF wave), and it’s amazing how many mutants I’ve piled up in a short time. His pointed ears jut out from behind his sculpted sideburns, and the hair is beautifully sculpted and swept back. There’s a little slop from his fangs onto his bottom lip, and there isn’t any white paint on his lower row of teeth. Given her significant role in the current era of X-Men comics, I was mortified when the modern Madelyne Pryor figure was lost to fans forever when the Ghost Rider Haslab failed last year. This costume is reminiscent of the 80s comic book costume from when Magneto was affiliated with the Hellfire Club, so it’s not an entirely unprecedented look.To me, the really interesting Mutants were the ones who traded their great gift for an appearance that instantly placed them outside normal society.

The articulation on this figure is aces, the proportions are spot-on, the three heads are a delight, and it just feels so good to see a 6” Nightcrawler on shelves again. Cyclops comes with 5 hands, an optic blast effects piece, and an interchangeable angry head that all add tons of dynamic posing potential.
