Although the cardboard is recyclable there is a lot of plastic waste which is a shame, as it would probably put me off of purchasing more.

Pop It Pets are released in seasonal series and limited edition series for holidays/events. There are currently 3 series of Pop It Pets, with 1 more expected to release later on. Mega Pop It Pets are special Pop It Pets that were introduced in Season 2. They have yet to release and not much is known about them. The Pop Pop Pets bubbles are made of thin plastic which you squeeze until the burst, and the pink or purple slime oozes out. The pets in Pop Pops Pets are tiny little collectable rubber creatures. Pop It Pets are organized by towns, towns are fictional locations where Pop It Pets live. Each town has a group of themed Pop It Pets, based on the setting of the town.
