About this deal

For best placement of the disc for the optimum signal, download the ‘My BT’ app available for IOS and Android. I purchased a set of 3 BT Wholehome Wi-Fi discs a couple of years ago, followed by two add on discs. Hoping to get things sorted quickly before Christmas, I purchased a new set of 3 BT Wholehome Wi-Fi discs, the aim was to get the three new ones working and then add the others as additional discs.

It should have been simple, I thought, but the App system failed to add disc 4, the light again turned Red. I was also a bit worried about some of the reviews that said they had issues with dropping out while moving round the house, but so far I have experienced no issues whatsoever. Product Description BT Premium Whole Home Wi-Fi - radio access point Device Type Radio access point Packaged Quantity 3 (specifications are for single item) Form Factor External Data Link Protocol IEEE 802.

For those on an older version than 822C you will not be able to upgrade directly to 8426, therefore you will need to first update your discs to SGAB20822C before having access to any further updates, including this release. Setting them up was very easy thanks to the user friendly app, which also gives you plenty of tools for maintaining your network when it’s in use. Factory reset the disc connected to your hub (router) - use a pin or paper clip to press the Factory reset button for about one second. They all transmit the same Wi-Fi network, creating a ‘mesh’ that allows you to seamlessly switch from device to device easily.

Bournemouth has required the full number for the last 10 years, as the 01202 code didn't have enough numbers left to meet demand, so it was altered so that individual 6 digit numbers could start with 0, 1 and 9, meaning that the whole 11 digits were required all the time. With three separate units, you’d fear that setting them up would be overly complicated, but thankfully we found that not to be the case at all. In total, it’s possible to have a maximum of 6 Wi-Fi Discs, all of which will need to be of the same type. This is a handy guide to making sure each unit is positioned to give you the best possible Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home. They’ll work together to give you one seamless Wi-Fi network with much better coverage than you’re able to get using just a standard Wi-Fi router. The front of each unit displays the BT logo, along with a single LED at the bottom that's used as a status light.

If you've had a device plan with us for more than 30 days, or a SIM plan for 6 months, you can spread the cost of accessories or electronics over 11 months when you add it your pay monthly contract. With proper VOIP providers (where the phone has an ethernet connection), that phone can be taken anywhere and it will still work. Reset the one attached to your hub or router with ethernet cable and wait for that to go blue and follow instructions on the app.Moving one floor above (and in another room), we got an impressive 122Mb/s, where single routers would usually struggle. Can I just start this thread by thanking everyone for all their help and assistance around this project. The App only allowed me to add 6 discs, and they were visible on the two pages, I renamed them before disconnecting them, plus 1, plus 2, and plus 3.
