Max Factor are best known for their foundations and mascaras, so I tested their newest incarnations. There are also a lot of colour choices, 6 altogether: Light Ivory, Warm Almond, Natural, Beige, Golden and Bronze. It hides the redness and small broken veins in my cheeks, dulls my blemishes and hides a lot of my scarring (not severe scarring). We’re truly in love with the It Cosmetics CC cream, and while there were a great number of steady rivals, none quite gave the same illuminated, flawless finish. The packaging is actually really nice, looks classy, though the lid does get dirty with dried up foundation.

If I am going out I use a more long lasting foundation, but this is brilliant for creating natural even finish.With a matte finish that works to reduce shine while moisturising, it’s incredibly subtle, taking any pastiness away from the skin, reducing pores and blurring imperfections at the same time. a favourite of max factor's international make-up artists, you'll wonder how you managed without it. Not only did it correct colour, but it has a thick and creamy consistency not common among CC creams, which, when combined with the stronger pigment, delivers a higher coverage without the cakiness or cracking often associated with foundations, while still covering dark circles, pores and blemishes. I use it as a foundation when I want more natural look, it seems weightless but gives nice coverage. Good coverage but colour was a bit too pale even for me and by lunch time it had started sliding off my nose, around my nose and my chin!
