First time on vinyl for 2014 mixtape by Texas rapper, which also served as a prequel to his EPIC debut album. One of my favorite things with this album is just how well produced it is, and when you listen close to each track you find layers and layers of instrumentation and sound design that make every listen sound almost unique in its own way. Disc 2 came with its center hole being incredibly small and wouldn’t fit on the turntable, I don’t know if that is just my copy or not.

However it feels like with every listen, the high points get higher, and the low points never seem appearent.There’s so emotion and soul in each song and it conveys not only that there was a hell of a lot of effort put into this project, but there was real feeling and real experience behind it. I wish he’d bring it to other platforms but the quality of the vinyl and even the album artwork is great.

Excellent production, tons of catchy flows, a dash of rage in Piss On Your Grave, and some beautiful moments like the beat switch in 90210. Days Before Rodeo follows up the young artist's debut album from last year, which was also a freebie,Owl Pharaoh. The production is 11/10 on every song, features are great, lyrics are great on some tracks but lets be honest you didn't come for lyrics. My pressing has lots of surface noise and the vocals have horrible distortion to them, especially on Pray 4 Love and Flying High with all the effects, autotune, etc.All image and audio content is used by permission of the copyright holders or their agents, and/or according to fair dealing as per the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. The sound quality is really good, there is a slight skip towards the end of "The Prayer" but the rest of the vinyl sounds great. I., the album twists and turns through a cavernous deluge of impeccable and impenetrable rapping from TRAVIS and entrancing soundscapes.

Little to no surface noise, amazing instrument separation and mixed well - but, sibilance is noticeable and slightly ruins the overall experience. I know Scott’s vocals are mixed hot, but more effort could have been put into mastering the vocals for a vinyl cut. This makes it super confusing as to figure out where I actually am in a song, with both grooves sitting on top of eachother.

One set is beneath the vinyl, and the other one is sitting on top and actually gets touched by the stylus during playback. Vote up content that is on-topic, within the rules/guidelines, and will likely stay relevant long-term. It’s honest and it’s just as much clever with the approach behind the themes like Lust, Fame, Guilt, and Anger being so interesting while avoiding all the usual takes on the subjects for something more personal and frankly brilliant.
