We placed some of the lip gloss base with one of the lip gloss flavours and some glitter, then placed it into the dispenser. My daughter (3 almost 4) loves little trucks and all of the toys with "collections", she got this for Xmas and the truck it's self is adorable! It also comes with 2 lip gloss flavours, 1 glitter sprinkles,1 cupcake mixing tool with spatula, and 3 lip gloss container.

My daughter loves playing with her Num Noms and ticking them off the Collector’s Menu but we were really excited to hear more about the playset. Just to clarify, we do not sell any of the items that we list on this site and occasionally partners increase or decrease their pricing.

I will admit even I thought it looked like great fun and after a few weeks of nagging from the kids I contacted my friends at Num Noms to see if they wanted a review. It’s a fabulous idea for Isla’s age – what better way to spend your time than making your own lip gloss. The girls loved making their own and showing their lip gloss off to their Dad who arrived home not long afterwards, and to their Nain who was there at the time, visiting them. In fact they were very excited when they saw that they had been sent a Num Noms Glitter Lip Gloss Truck. Just a lot of mess, clean up is a pain, lip gloss is sticky on when you put it on, and they don't play with it as much as their other stuff.

To give you an idea of how that fares against other similar products, we’ve run a little comparison. Thankfully it’s simple to use so the girls could have gotten on and made this themselves which is useful to know if you are planning on getting one for your little ones. Take a Num, the outer, soft, squishy, hollow characters, and nestle it on top of a Nom, the inner, hard-shelled characters that are either motorised to scoot around, or filled with flavoured lip gloss. It’s safe to say that my girls have fallen in love with Num Noms and I know what will be on their Christmas lists this year. The Glitter Lip Gloss Truck is reated to the Lip Gloss Truck, except they are quite different from each other.

One of the other really great ways to get a better understanding of how good a product is, particularly with Jewellery and fashion toys, is to watch a view video reviews on YouTube. I've never made my own lip gloss before and so I was interested to see how it worked and of course, the girls couldn't wait. I chose the frustration free packaging and it was nice not to have to take apart all the twisty ties. The vaseline/greasy type product that you use for the gloss is sectioned off into several sections and I am not sure if you can get refills or not. Unfortunately the momentum sends her flying out, inches from the Lip Gloss Truck; which then begins to roll backwards towards the edge of the table.I would say you need to oversee the first few attempts at making lipgloss so that there isn’t gloss everywhere because it isn’t easy to wash off. Go to the top of the truck and scoop all the Lip Gloss into the hole, then use the squeezer to push the Lip Gloss into your container/cone. It’s easy for children to do, and they can spoon it into the plunger to make it come out like Mr Whippy. The Num Noms Lip Gloss Truck is a playset that lets you create all sorts of gorgeous lip glosses, and it's one of those toys that going to be top of lots of wish lists this Christmas.All in all, this is a toy I would definitely supervise for the lipgloss portion bc its messy and hello! If Jack wants to play with a ‘girly’ toy or Olivia with a ‘boys’ toy, then they can do – I am not going to stop them.
