Whether you’re bouncing, running, jumping or playing hopscotch, kids will love pretending to be an astronaut and doing the spacewalk without leaving the comfort of their back garden! Once our shoes were put together, the kids were pretty interested in something described as a trampoline and was also space themed.

Not sure if it is because of the heavy foot wear or the concept of them being on the moon, but at the end of the day they were tired. So I suspect the heights shown in the ads are probably down to artistic licence rather than moon shoes allowing you to reach dizzy heights.

The eye-catching designs in our Moon Boot line for newborns, boys, and girls are meant to keep young feet toasty in the coldest weather. There are a bunch of replacement bands, so if your bands start to wear out, you can just switch them out for a new set, and keep on jumping! We started doing races to get up and down the garden, timing children as they make their way to the back wall or counting the number of jumps it took for them to get from the top of the garden to the bottom of the garden, which became quite the competition.

I always wanted some of these as a child but never had a pair, so was so excited that Erin got the chance to give them a go! Once you’ve constructed them, they won’t fit in the box they came in, so you can’t really assemble them ahead of time for birthday gifts etc. The bands are then threaded through the back of the purple shoe strap and hooked onto the small hooks around the base.

My advice to anyone embarking on assembling them is to follow the instructions clearly, and to wear gardening gloves to avoid catching the skin on your fingers.
