The list shows the top beers, based on our weighted average formula, which effectively rates all beers against each-other. Imperial Stout aged with Madagascar Vanilla Beans in Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, and Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. After about 14 months in those casks, we selected and blended the best of what our barrels had to offer, then introduced this blend to a handful of 21 year Elijah Craig barrels for 14 more months.

The younger portion represents threads which were brewed right around the 2020 release in plan to become part of this 2022 blend. We believe BBT 2021 showcases the rich chocolate and sweet coconut notes of this massive style while also providing the needed roundness and integration of the bourbon and oak characteristics to produce a harmonious experience.
