It's Heavily Implied, (Pretty much confirmed in the spin off chapters featuring Kuroji and Harutsugu), that he keeps his hair short due to Harutsugu Liking it. The Alpha of the Yamada Family, Harutsugu is a very over-the-top and Overprotective father to Tsugumi and Suzume.Megumi, whose behaviour is different from other alphas, confuses Tsugumi and leaves him torn between rage and desire. We are only in the beginning of volume two, so a lot can still change, therefore, I will propably be making an update of this review when it is completed. When he captures its leader—the handsome, enigmatic Ryuichi Asami—in the crosshairs of his viewfinder, Takaba’s world is changed forever. There's been no English or any other language transcript for the cast talk at the end of the CDs as of now. Not quite getting this whole love thing, Tsugumi decides the only way to deal with his confusion is to get rid of it-and Megumi too-with the help of his trusty lead pipe! As expected, the two have a passionate reunion…until Akihito pulls out a knife and attempts to kill Asami!
