I really wanted to love this book, I really did love little Bodie and even eventually big Bodie, It had a really good plot line. I loved this book so much, I'm tempted to read it all over again to catch all the little things I must have missed this first time around. The first books Shawn remembers reading were the adventures of a horse named Blaze and his youthful owner, Billy, written and illustrated by Clarence William Anderson in the mid-1930's. Shawn has a great style of writing that makes the story easy to follow, and has created loveable characters with an incredibly interesting story.
