About this deal

By using LibraryThing you acknowledge that you have read and understand our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. For example, one paragraph describes Leigh getting into bed, only to then describe it again shortly thereafter. I especially liked the relationship that built between Leigh and the two versions of the ghost, it gave the characters good development. The title, to me, implied that the ghosts played vital roles in the storyline, second only to the main character, Leigh. Explaining, “I do a little bit of TikTok,” Swearenjin decides to purchase an extra signed copy to give away to anyone with over a thousand followers willing to post their own review.

The writing was done so well and the author truly possesses such great descriptive prowess — as many have mentioned.Racing against time, they must decipher cryptic clues and overcome numerous obstacles, both supernatural and human, to find the artifact and put the restless spirits to rest. While she does her best to adjust to her new life and deal with her grief — shes unable to let go of not knowing what happened to her parents and embarks on discovering the truth no matter how difficult it is.

I really wanted to love this book, I really did love little Bodie and even eventually big Bodie, It had a really good plot line. I loved this book so much, I'm tempted to read it all over again to catch all the little things I must have missed this first time around. Navigating through everything wasn’t so lonely thanks to two or should I say multiple people lol one of them being her cousin Myra who was the sweetest. As Leigh and Max delve deeper, they realize that the key to unraveling the mystery lies within a long-lost artifact hidden somewhere within the manor. The first books Shawn remembers reading were the adventures of a horse named Blaze and his youthful owner, Billy, written and illustrated by Clarence William Anderson in the mid-1930's. Shawn has a great style of writing that makes the story easy to follow, and has created loveable characters with an incredibly interesting story.

It was a compelling (almost short) story that involved mystery, suspense, ghosts, tragedy and trauma as a result of organized crime and betrayal. With new family and friends, which includes a ghost with multiple personality issues, Leigh risks everything to find her answers. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. The story is fast paced and moves from scene to scene, no long narration where nothing is happening. I wish there had been more with the ghosts and her healing and not so much with the cloak and dagger.
