I have used Number One for at least 30 years, maybe even longer, ever since my wife bought me a bottle for Christmas all those years ago.

Boss Original opens with bitter green artemisia, citrus, tobacco, honey, and then patchouli and oak moss in the dry down. Can you imagine a small, slim, shy 14 year old boy walking into class smelling of the original Boss No1? If you are like me and loathe the constant flankers and copy cat scents and safe offerings, get this stunner! This new version with silver cap is great, bottle is more elegant than the vintage but I think that they should have kept that signature vertical lines. I will wear it to the office tomorrow so will be able to comment further on the projection and silage more then.

I am obsessed with trying to find scents like Ralph Lauren Monogram, or Calvin by Calvin Klein or Pour Homme by YSL. Base notes of amber, sandalwood, musk, cinnamon, tobacco and patchouli finish this popular fragrance. Additionally, the scent nebula formed in the first few minutes resembles that of Boucheron Pour Homme's. A company can't do that forever without making changes to the product unless they are happy to pile up losses. But for me his jewel of the crown is still Boss Number One, and this is the perfume that put Hugo Boss on the perfume map. This often creates a smooth and round texture, which is hard to achieve with the dilution represented in the other concentrations of fragrance. I am able to down a bottle only by spraying it on my hand and sniffing it all day long :-) I am doing it right now.
