It is perfect for the colder months, doesn't really seem like it would be as good in the heat, so I don't even try it. I don't understand the connection to CH Sexy, because that perfume is an overload of musk with bombs of vanilla and bergamot.

I think the general image of the women appearing in Guess clothing campaigns - especially their Marciano line - is what I associate with this fragrance.Guess by Marciano for Men is composed of accentuated aromas of ginger-mandarin, ice tonic accords which introduce a fresh wave, while a base encompasses a spicy note of black pepper. The florals sort of blend together, the honeysuckle note being the most prominent out of all three floral notes followed by jasmine. Its really a shame because it would be a good cologne if it weren't for the synthetic flower/potpourri smell.

It's probably the combo of vanilla (which I can't really detect), fruits (which come through as sweetness), curaçao liqueur (which does come through). It's definitely a cold weather scent because the cold gives a chance for the fruit to shine and makes the scent lighter and way less cloying. This is the only perfume that I've bought consistently (I've lost count for how many bottles I've bought) for 4 years straight.I don't get black pepper at all as others mentioned, the main note that I get is a creamy amber (So sweet to my taste) , so the scent reminds me so much of hypnose pour Homme.
