About this deal

The reader first and foremost reads for emotions and the author in no way endeared me to the characters in the elevator.

However, it's obvious that we will eventually encounter this one thought after entering a room "what if I get stuck in here? Meeting her teammates, Adjoa, Ibrahim, Oscar and Min, Ami learns from the Host that they have been chosen to save the world and they must work together to find the Answer. I kept thinking to myself, what father would send their kid to this escape room for their birthday, without knowing more about it? And what if all Escape Rooms in our city have already been completed by us, and we are still looking for more puzzles that we can deal with? Each room they go in gets bigger, more complicated, more dangerous and more difficult to escape from.

Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. The writing at many times seemed repetitive with lots of side stories that were introduced but never really completed.

Chess, fire, dancing bones, and extinct animals with gnashing teeth all are flung at the team until only Ami is left. I thought it’d be a fun break from studying, just a whatever story, and it came with a huge twist I didn’t see coming. Whilst this isn’t an escape room puzzle book per se, it certainly has a little sprinkling of clues which the reader can pick up on and appreciate how “rooms” within the storyline can be escaped from. This was actually sitting at a solid 3 or 4 stars the whole way through, but the ending dropped it for me significantly. When 12-year-old Ami arrives at The Escape, she thinks it’s just a game - the ultimate escape room with puzzles and challenges to beat before time runs out.Escape Room Puzzles is perfect for reading with your family and friends, and it contains ten intricate escape rooms to solve in your living room. There was definitely a turning point for me where I seen things in a different light and was able to foresee where this story was headed. There are hints available, but I mostly found that either I already knew the information or that the hints were too obscure to be helpful.
