A modern and fruity scent, bringing together exotic flowers with fruits and a woody finish, for a well-balanced fragrance. It still smells like a delicious green apple, lovely magnolia and sandalwood, but the magic and longevity from the previous formula is gone. With its combination of sophisticated apples, exotic flowers, and woody tones, it emphasizes individuality and uniqueness. Right now I have bigger bottles of other fragrances that I like to wear in the spring and summer to use up.
It almost reminds me a little bit of sunscreen, but in a pleasant way (maybe that's the syntheticity some people describe here). This scent to me is as recognizable as Coco Mademoiselle, at least for millenials (I think), it was super popular. The level of refreshingly crisp of this perfume; It is like when you cut white grapes in half and pop them in the freezer. It stays on me 8h+ and everyone in the room felt it but not in their face overpowering, perfectly enjoyable in the office atmosphere.It’s hot here at the moment and anything too thick and dusky is too much to cope with (even though that’s my favourite scent profile). Didn't get any green/earthiness, just freshly sliced apple and a bit of tartness from the grapefruit. It started out smelling like the old Cucumber Melon spray from Bath and Body Works before turning into a weird B. Fresh, fun, fruity and crisp; BD starts with a very prominent cucumber note, which is quite aquatic but also crisp and green and balanced out with the tangy but not so sour grapefruit note, rendering it less queasy than many other aquatics.
Donna Karan fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Rodrigo Flores-Roux, IFF, Alberto Morillas, Harry Fremont, Trudi Loren, Yann Vasnier, Calice Becker, Anne Flipo, Maurice Roucel, Olivier Gillotin, Pierre Negrin, Jean-Marc Chaillan, Nicholas Calderone, Yves Cassar and Stephen Nilsen. Something about the scent profile does remind me of the early-2010s, since it was so popular around that time. Avoid Rubbing: Avoid rubbing the wrists together after application to preserve the integrity of the fragrance. My only real gripe with Be Delicious is the bottle and spray function; the round bottle design makes it a little challenging to spray, and the actual spray seems to come out as a jet of liquid (as opposed to a nice, well-rounded mist). I am pretty sure I have had it for about 10 years and the liquid is still green and the smell has not shifted.
A blend of sparkling grapefruit, cassis and sunkissed apricot meets a blooming floral heart of sheer muguet and petally rose, wrapped in luminous jasmine. This is a great perfume for every day and for when you just want to smell fresh but still keep it low key.
Although it only last for about 4 hours on my skin,but if sprayed on clothes would last approximately 8 hours,the scent is unoffensive thats why i feel confident in wearing it.The apple-inspired bottle and the well-balanced blend of notes make it a must-have for everyday wear. After waiting for the cucumber to ‘leave the building’, and it wouldn’t, I felt like regretting having bought it.
But the cucumber was too dominant, sharp, and artificial, the green apple was overpowering, slightly sour, and synthetic, and the woodsy notes were heavy as well. The green apple note is a super specific memory of an apple that is wonderfully crisp but not quite ripe yet - it lacks the sickly sweetness of a deep red apple which in this instance is perfect.
