About this deal

Sometimes (many times even) I actually prefer the sweeter more aquatic Cool Water over the greener-leaning GIT. You get a blast of Creed's Green Irish Tweed upfront, a blend of lavender and mint so abundantly familiar that even if you've never smelled it before, you're brain has been pre-configured to think that it has. You could say it's 'dated' but Cool Water is still inspiring new fragrances coming out today, and someone smelling it for the first time could easily believe that it just came out a year ago.

For light intensity: spray in a cloud around your head and shoulders, let the fragrance fall gently around you.I love Cool Water because of the memories, I love it because of it's simple message, most of all I love it because it smells nice. Cool Water is so nostalgic to me for some reason, I must have smelled it as a child but can’t place where. But when I bought it with my husband, I made a deal with him that if he really liked it he could have it as his options for fragrances he has and likes to use are limited because he normally only looks woodsy, amber, musk scents. The sea water accord is definitely there, but it seems to me like it's more of an olfactory trick than a direct presence of salty water. It's an okay fragrance for me personally, i don't have anything bad to say about it, an inexpensive fresh summer/spring scent, i do reach for it sometimes when i remember i have it.

Davidoff design house launched Cool Water in 1988 as a fresh and sharp simple and very masculine fragrance for men.Cool Water gets mentioned a lot as a cheap alternative to Creed's Green Irish Tweed, so this review is predominately from that perspective. Cool Water Man was released in 1988 and began to appear in Brazilian lands in the 90’s, as one of those cases of that time, which were only seen in the hands of friends or relatives traveling abroad. She started telling me how good I smell and that I remind her of something nostalgic (probably because everyone's dad and uncle wore this 20 years ago). Yes, it is generic but it is a classic that you should have in your arsenal to change t hing sup a bit for hot days.

GIT is obviously "better" because of the quality ingredients and performance, but CW is so cheap you can just douse yourself in it (which I do) and constantly re-apply. Yes, it might smell a bit dated to some, but I'm an old guy and it reminds me of dancing to the Thompson Twins in a disco when seemingly everyone was wearing it.In the heart, sandalwood, neroli, geranium, and jasmine weave a tapestry of elegance, while the base sings of musk, oakmoss, tobacco, cedar, and ambergris, a symphony of the elements. These are the cases where snobishness in perfumery really shows it's ugliness: people rag on Davidoff while not realising how much of a ripoff the Creed really is. For medium intensity: spray in a y-shape across your body, beginning at one shoulder and finishing at the other. You won’t really notice any difference between a product purchased from Perfume’s Club and a product purchased from a seller in our new Marketplace.
