About this deal

I was under the impression that it was like their Yu Yu Hakusho blu-rays which use the HD masters from Japan. news is that both the original Japanese language version and the excellent English dub are presented in Dolby TrueHD 5. They did a very good job in terms of text replacement, but I majorly object to the fact that none of the animation staff on any of the episodes (save for animation director per episode) have been credited in the ED. It just never occurred to me that there'd be a reason to mix 'n match framerates within one project.

It really was cutting edge at the time and predates some of the more loose comparisons of what came after it in terms of style and tone.

While this release provides the ‘expected’ 1080p entertainment and the inclusion of a variety of extra (Japanese) content it’s annoying to find a slight issue with this Blu-ray Release. Most of the video is encoded progressive on Dynit/Dybex BDs, whereas the UK and Japanese BDs are interlaced.

Yo no sabía que a veces ocurre con este tipo de ediciones de USA que no se pueden reproducir con nuestros reproductores de DVD o BLUE - RAY. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees.stargates" that open and close to let space travellers traverse large distances in the blink of an eye. disparate ingredients might be more the stuff of magic, or at least Art, than something that sprang from some intentionally rational impetus.

The reason for the 4:3 aspect ratio is because the series was originally produced this way (for CRT TV’s) and to avoid cropping (loss of picture) they left the re-master at its original aspect ratio. Meanwhile, the gap between rich and poor has widened, fostering the growth of a thriving black market dominated by warring crime syndicates. Against this backdrop, Cowboy Bebop’s storyline follows Spike Spiegel and Jet Black, one a former assassin and the other an ex-cop, who hop around the system in their beat-up spacecraft (the Bebop) earning a meager living as bounty hunters. The Series is only 26 Episodes but it takes you on a ride from start to finish; as each episode has something you can take away from. On their own, any one of them is likely to get lost in the sprawl of space, but together, they’re they most entertaining gang of bounty hunters in the year 2071.Moody, manic, running gags, explosions, weirdness, double-crossing and general lawlessness - but in space. This motely lot of intergalactic loners teams up to track down fugitives and turn them in for cold hard cash. Better than the Japanese release because it's mostly progressive encoded video with a few 60i shots here and there.
