The Reserve version has a very very noticable petrichor/ozone accord in it, which gives the feeling of a fresh, wet t-shirt hanging on the line during a cool windy day before a rain storm starts to roll in, its very fresh, humid and yes, ok, it is a bit synthetic, but its much more wearable in my opinion compared to the original, which I do love, but I really have to be in the mood for as its too simplistic, this one has more complexity and something about it. This perfume is definitely only for 1) bedsheets/for sleep perfume 2) the gym 3) spray it in your purse/bag after you wash it. Nothing really new to say here - this is straight up citrus laundry detergent, and an extremely linear scent.I always use fragrance-free products for my laundry because I grew up with fragrance-sensitive family members, so I was hoping this would smell like warm sheets out of the dryer (which for me are unscented and just smell like themselves), but I was disappointed. There has been a change because this is now a BEAST MODE freshy that is ready to stay with you until the day is over! Not sure if I would use it, it's a bit more like a cleaning product rather than laundry detergent or clean laundry which is what I was looking for. The effect is pleasant on first sniff but the heaviness of it quickly becomes irksome and disagreeable; it's a good bit stronger than actual fresh laundry.This is the closest one to Skin by Clean in a sense that this is a very warm musky clean skin scent as well, with some amber in the base. not a bad scent or association but absolutely not worth the splurge for me nor one i would want to wear as a perfume. If this is precisely what you expected when looking into Warm Cotton (at least the Reserve blend, idk about the classic one), this ain't it. The addition of Sueded Oud takes that laundromat edge off the Warm Cotton and somehow makes it smell more expensive and luxe.

It sure does smell clean, but I was really hoping for the scent of the fabric itself and the warmth of the dryer, not the scent of my college dorm’s laundry room. I enjoy most things laundered, aldehyde-y, soapy, aquatic, oceanic, clean, and fresh in perfume, so I was open to liking Warm Cotton. I have the travel size and wear it on my schlubby no makeup/sweatpants/unwashed hair/running errands days; it makes me feel a little more put together.
