About this deal

A place where family and friends have worked for generations in a small Northern Irish village that for over 400 years has kept to the philosophy that hand crafting small batches is the way to produce beautifully smooth tasting Irish whiskey. Bushmills Black Bush is best enjoyed on the rocks, with coke or a little ginger ale and a wedge of lemon. Your traditional Speyside flavours are released as you open the bottle with a slightly floral, mineral-inspired malted aroma, with citrus honey and orchard fruit notes.

Vividly neon green with a bouquet of aromas incorporating mint, lemon blame, aniseed and of course wormwood, Grande Absente Original is made to a pre-ban absinthe recipe the flavour builds as you enjoy each sip.

From the house of Bushmills from Great Britain pours with this Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey a tasty whiskey - whiskey in the sparkling glass and immediately bewitches the eye of inclined spirits lovers*innen with expressive golden yellow color. To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt.

That first ever visit to Bushmills, was around 9 years prior to the still house experience I mentioned. This black Bush is a very nice budget whiskey, I find it better than standard jameson and better than original bushmills. This may affect factors including the product style and allergen information, and we would advise that you always check the label and not solely rely on the information presented here. Each time I nose a Bushmills Black Bush, I am immediately brought back to the still house in Bushmills. The flavour is smooth and sweet on the palate with the woody and vanilla notes coming together strongly and a hint of sweet honey coming in. This reminded me of a previous visit I’d had at the Bushmills distillery, where my olfactory senses were incredibly overwhelmed in a way I’d never imagined.

This unique recipe means Black Bush has rich, fruity notes and a deep intense character, balanced by an incredibly unique smoothness. Do however indulge in the smooth arrival and development; it's perhaps too easy to sip your way through. We recommend enjoying the Black Bush 1 l either neat or in a well-polished cocktail glass as Irish Coffee, Manhattan or Brooklyn. A memorable whisky moment for me was when the tour group entered one of their many, many cask warehouses. Then we get dark baking fruit of dates and raisins with milk chocolate, some roast coffee beans, dried ginger and malt.Clear in colour and rich with fruity aromas, particularly citrus, Patron Silver is refreshing and has a smooth sweetness about it. The nose is powerful with lemon, fresh grapes and barley with a flavour which is sweet, almost dairy-infused and rich in fruit. In a mixing glass, slowly stir the Black Bush, sugar syrup and angostura bitters over ice until chilled. Before you go on to the ‘ah here we go with another the older whiskey was way better than the whiskey we get today trope’, I also had a sample of the Special Old Liqueur (1970s) which was the forerunner to Black Bush and sadly it tasted of soap. Smooth on the palate and a perfect finish, no harsh aftertaste with a perfect burn left on the tongue, albeit with a couple of small ice cubes added.
