Honestly, it's within the year to year variations (particularly comparing something like the 2019s to the new F batches), with the caveat that the quality is noticeably worse. Bought this about 5 months ago and first I didn't like it that much, but now it's one of my favorites.This, the Limited Edition Parfum, is to my mind classic Aventus in 3D with added steroids: one spray blooms a gorgeous bubble that projects in the cool indoors while becoming a much larger bubble in the super heated dry outdoors of where I reside in Southern New Mexico. The more I wash my hand, the more fruit is washed away and all that remains is the smell of a gas station.

I've smelled dozens of bottles and decants of Aventus between 2010 and now so I'm very familiar with all the formulations, and I don't think CDIMLE is any closer than 85% similar to any of them. I like it even if it’s not my favorite and the reactions of others does make it an experience wearing it. CDNIMLEP is a smokey aventus which is exactly the aventus that everyone originally fell in love with. When they found me sniffing this thing from my forearm I immediately got my first compliment out of the box.Anyone who has a bottle fo the EDT and who is bothered by the somewhat harsh lemony opening will be pleased with this edition: the issue is absolutely fixed, as this one's opening is very fruity, much smoother, and clearly improved. I blind bought it because of all the positive comments and reviews, but it's kinda difficult to put this on, without smelling like cigar ash. But when the cold night came, that smokiness keep the citrusy notes away from awkward feeling during the night. So for those who like that side of the EDT (and you don't have issues with it's synthetic nature), just stick with the EDT. These notes smell mostly synthetic causing the smoke to seem a bit ashy, the cedar to smell a bit like pencil shavings, and the lemon to smell like a lemon cleaner rather than a fresh lemon.

For context, I bought my bottle of CDNIMLE this year (2023) based on the wildly high reviews, but had never smelled any other versions of CDNIM. Its confident, yet cozy accords indulge in the most unusual and unexpected transformations during wear.So far the biggest compliment getter I've got in my collection, in my first day I got two people asking what I'm wearing. but this limited edition parfum smells better than rest CDI collection, has more quality, no harsh synthetic opening lemon pledge ‘ this opens smooth fruity pineapple, not too dark also. I was gonna go for pure parfum but then i heard that it was reformulated in 2021 and had soft projection for only about an hour. I also like the regular CDNIM as well and tend to layer it with this one or Al Haramain L'Aventure Intense (another great Aventus clone that's more on the fruity side) I have also tried Sillage and Milestone and they are identical to Silver Mountain Water and Milliseme Imperial. Afterwards, the citrus note is too distinct, and it is not pineapple-like, or maybe it is, but definitely artificial.
