About this deal

We loved ‘Ajay and the Mumbai Sun’ in our household and we enjoyed ‘Ajay and the Jaipur Moon’ just as much. Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do. Ajay held up the faluda-pink paper in triumph (although sadly, no one else seemed to have noticed his amazing feat of skill and dexterity).

You guys are such a force for good and I am a passionate supporter of Indie booksellers, so I'm so happy this worked out well (I'd love to know how many books were sold if you have it to hand - it felt like quite a lot! Soon Ajay, Saif, Vinod, Yasmin and Jai are travelling to Jaipur, determined to find the meteor and win the prize. The spectacular sequel to Ajay and the Mumbai Sun, shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize! It's a great adventure with a cast of lovely characters and I enjoyed it just as much or even more than the first one! I have even talked the head into a little revamp of the library so that we can display them properly! Chicken House) The Mumbai Sun might be printing every morning from the railway station, but Saif has trouble. Addictively lively and heartfelt' THE GUARDIAN --- --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

They need a big story - and when a meteor crashes to Earth, and there's a competition to find it, Ajay and his friends find themselves in a space race to Jaipur! But against some of the most powerful forces in the city, can Ajay and his friends really succeed in bringing the truth to light?I loved 'Ajay and the Mumbai Sun' and was delighted when the follow up, 'Ajay and the Jaipur Moon' was published.

I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books. As with the first book, I really love the way the story introduces children to difficult concepts such as exploitation, corruption and environmental damage without ever making them feel too heavy or scary. They need a big story – and when a meteor crashes to Earth, and there’s a competition to find it, Ajay and his friends find themselves in a space race to Jaipur! Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. Ajay is an incredible character and as the twists and turns of the fast-paced plot unfold in the most dramatic way you feel like you're part of this ingenious gang. Then again, isn’t this industry what unites them and gives them purpose in each of their individual ways?

Exciting action sequences and peril - it was so cinematic I could really picture it being played out on the big screen. There is lots of action and some nail-biting, tech-inspired plot twists, and the book is divided into short, easy-to-absorb chunks for young readers. There was just the right amount of choice to suit everyone without being overwhelming and I received comments from parents and staff about the quality of books offered compared to previous sales which have always been based around current crazes and well known celebrity authors. Your words, like your reviews, bring books to life and give them a voice before the front cover is even turned.Abandoned on the Mumbai railways, Ajay has grown up with nothing but a burning wish to be a journalist. The spectacular sequel to Ajay and the Mumbai Sun, shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize! I'm sure she will be reading it over and over again, maybe she'll let me read it with her next time! Ajay’s determined to uncover the truth, but in so doing might unravel a plot that goes right to the top! After all, it seems that Mrs Surya, director of the WECU space programme understands Ajay’s struggles and seeks to support each of the team.
