About this deal

I loved Lo more than Lil in the beginning (I mean he's just impossible not to adore), but she's also now growing on me, MY GIRL IS BECOMING SO MATURE đŸ€đŸ’… I didn't even touch the surface of everything and everyone that is wrong with this book. And I won't, because it is bound to put me in a rage that'll SEND ME TO A PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL. I don't remember the last time I have actually despised a book with such fervour. This is personal. I hope every single copy BURNS in the everlasting depth of hell. I want to grow with him. I want to be with him. I want to love Lo without people telling me that our love is too much. One day, I hope we’ll get there. Hope, that’s all I have to go on right now. It’s my driving force.” Lately, Sandra Brown has been the only author to really keep me interested in her books to the point where I don't want to put the book down. If I wasn't pregnant and could deal with less sleep, I would be eating these books right up! Lily has let a lot more people into her life. I’m glad that almost everyone in her life is really there for her and is helping her in this journey. I especially enjoyed Rose’s involvement. She is a really good sister. It’s important to have these characters to highlight what kind of people one needs in their own life during a difficult time. I’m also glad that we delved deeper into the root of Lily and Lo’s addictions.

Bottom line—this guy has the goods, so if you aren’t already reading his stuff, jump on the bandwagon now because Taylor Moore is going to be around for a long, long time. You know what I am about to say right? I can’t say much about the plot because the littlest thing could give away something that could spoil your reading experience. RICOCHET is a companion to the sequel: A full-length New Adult Romance that continues where Addicted to You left off. As a companion novel, it bridges the gap between the first and second book. It is highly recommended to be read before Addicted for Now. Photographer Denis O’Regan’s pictures of David Bowie taken during 1983’s Serious Moonlight Tour, are collected in a new official book, Ricochet, which is available as both a highly-priced limited art book and a much cheaper edition, to be published by Penguin later this year.Ps: this wa smy first buddy read with lilyya and vio AND I LOVED IT. Can't wait to read the next book with you as weeellâ€ïžđŸ€ This, like the first book, is entirely from Lily’s pov. I really wanted more Lo in this one, like maybe some of his time away, that’s the only reason it wasn’t quite a 5 for me. I still loved it lots. It was great to get a little more time with Ryke and Daisy- I can tell their book is going to be fun!

With all of that, Elise is an enigma, a mystery. The reader is never really sure of her motivations, of her fears, nor is the reader exactly sure where her loyalties lie. Sex with om/ow: Yes - please reference my cheating comments. I put it there because I cannot STAND sex with om/ow and do consider that cheating after the hero and heroine met. So I put those details under the cheating category With Lily and Lo’s dysfunctional relationship teetering and unbalanced, they will need to find a way to reconnect from miles apart. But the inability to “touch” proves to be one of the hardest tests on their road to recovery. Some love brushes the surface. Some love is deeper than skin. About the characters, I really love and I mean love it so much how it turned out for Lily in this book. How she unraveled, how she came into some sort of realization, how vulnerable she was, how in the end she became strong, how she really trying to accept and gave people chance. I love it so much and I think she evolved pretty good in this book, though this is still 2nd book and it's still to early for bigger picture but I still love her. She really turned out great. Loren turned out pretty okay too, I mean I didn't see him a lot in this book and I did feel he was getting better and I love that for him. Can I just simply say that I really love Lilo and how they turned out and really complete each other? I just couldn't wait for more of their story now that he got out from rehab.

Denis O’Regan took something like 20,000 images of David Bowie on the tour and all the images published were personally approved by David. Some of them were originally used in the 1984 Serious Moonlight tour book, which included lots of text by Chet Flippo. O’Regan told SDE that with this project he wanted the photos to speak for themselves: “I wanted Ricochet to be more of a photography book. With the original book you’ve got lots of little pictures and there are political reasons for having some pictures in here. You know, you’ve got to have a picture of this person, and that person and this person with that person. And I was forced into a few things I didn’t really want. For Ricochet I wanted the photographs to be the focal point and [in] landscape [format] so they aren’t chopped in half by the seam.” Photographer Denis O’Regan and David Bowie in what looks like an early ‘selfie’ Progress. That’s what Lily’s striving for. But by trying to become closer to her family–people who aren’t aware of her addiction–she creates larger obstacles. When she spends time with her youngest sister, she learns more about her than she ever imagined and senses an unsettling connection between Daisy and Ryke Meadows.

I struggled to finish this book, “Ricochet”. Not out of boredom, but mostly due to the frustrating fact that the story just wasn’t veering in the direction that I wanted it to go to. It was more a struggle against the tide for me to get to the ending. En esta ocasiĂłn nos plantea un conflicto a simple vista como bien lo detalla la sinopsis: El detective Duncan tiene que ir a la casa del juez Cato Laird porque su esposa, Elise, matĂł en defensa a un ladrĂłn que quiso dispararle primero. hope. that’s all i have to go on right now. it’s my driving force. it’s literally what keeps me standing.” how can anyone not absolutely adore lilođŸ„șthey are literally so precious. the way they talk about each other and to each other is sođŸ€ŒđŸŒi’m in love with the way they love each other. them having to spend time apart while they work on fighting their addictions, but still being so madly in love with each other literally broke me. all lily wanted was lo, but she knew they both needed this, that they both needed to be apart so they can be in a healthy relationship. them realizing that all they were doing was hurting one another and enabling each others addictions literally made me sob because i can’t imagine unintentionally doing that to someone i love :( i literally need to shut up because at this point i’m rambling and sobbing. When Elise seeks Duncan out privately, he initially dismisses her incredible allegation as the manipulative lie of a guilty woman. But if she’s telling the truth, then that single fatal gunshot at her home takes on even more sinister significance, possibly involving Duncan’s nemesis, the brutal crime lord Robert Savich. Lily’s journey to recovering from her addiction isn’t an easy one as it isn’t for lo, so I know to expect the highs and lows between them. But for now, I lovedd her ability to push forward to give herself the chance to get better and be open to the help she needed. Moore: There is a lot more to come on the dusty Texas horizon for Garrett Kohl. I recently finished the fourth book in the series, and now I’m outlining his next adventures for books five and six. So, it looks like there will be no rest for either of us anytime soon. I loved Duncan Hatcher. He’s the hero in this one. He was heavenly. ❀ He was sexy, broody and a cop through and through.
