Actually getting that cover on and off the S3’s memory foam insert proved trickier than we’d have liked, but it held up perfectly well in a standard wash cycle. Each pillow is then passed on to a member of the wider team to take with them on a flight to further test when travelling. It’s easy to adjust and I like that the cover can be slung straight in the washing machine, so it’s ready to go for your next trip.

This travel pillow was very different from all the other ones I tried as it was designed to give you both neck and arm support.I’m quite tall, but I imagine this would be slightly uncomfortable for petite people where the neck might not quite align with the headrest. The discomfort probably has a lot to do with me getting older, so anything that makes my flights a little better is worth the investment these days. I'll admit, it feels a little strange at first to put it on, but the hypoallergenic fleece is soft and warm. Unlike traditional U-shaped travel neck pillows, it has full 360-degree memory foam neck support so your head and neck won't bounce around, and still compresses down to 60% of its expanded size for easy transport.
