I will not be reading any follow up story, because quite frankly I have absolutely no desire to read about any of them. The reason for my high rating is the sex scene at the beginning of the book which was hot! Scarlet always thought she was in love with Lennox’s brother Maddox. But we all know from book one that Maddox married Rae. Scarlet was nothing but someone that warmed his sheets and Lennox always thought that he was in love with Rae. There is so much to talk about this book that I would have to include spoillers, so....I'll just say that this is not for the faint hearted and easily triggered. It's dark, kinky, brutal and gory, active and reactive, visceral and exposed.

I want you to save me every single one of them for the rest of your life.” It felt like the ending was just rushed to have it finished and things where thrown in to make it really dark . There really should've been a proper conversation after what Maddox did but there wasn't, the things he done didn't add up to how he was throughout the whole book and I really wish the author hadn't have put it in, especially without any sort of redemption or guilt.Unexpectedly over her pool, she meets these brothers and their gang. Theirs an instant attraction happening and over time, realizing her step dad is hurting Rae, the brothers take her in. But jealousy ensues. As someone who didn't read the first book about Madox and Rae's story i felt really bad about Scarlet. Basically Madox dumps in the beginning of the book. Scarlet is 19years old and wants to someday be an actress. She got all the looks to achieve this dream. She is confident and incredibility funny. At the same time she keeps it very real and I really enjoyed her bubbly side in comparison to Lennoxs grumpy side. But just like everyone Scarlot has got a dark fantasy that she never got to act out until she finds Lennox. My heart breaks for her in what happens in this book. I seriously cried in one part so be aware! But I love her character development in the end. Lennox wasn’t who I thought he’d be. Out of the bedsheets, he’s actually a soft and romantic gangster. He wants love, marriage, and babies. The end of the first book didn't seem very auspicious for Scarlett Stone. Certain she was going on a trip with her boyfriend, she was in for a surprise, life altering events and the man of her nightmares that could very well be of her dreams also. When I tell you everything about this book was perfect. I thought that I was in love with Maddox and his madness but nothing could have prepared me for Lennox. Like his and Scarlett's story was the epitomie of a dark toxic lovely time. It was raw and unfilltered and I loved every moment of it.

These two are broken, and that's why they worked so well together. I know that Scarlet was still hung up on Maddox, but I don't think she could have found a better match than Lennox. They were soulmates.

These twin brothers will do your head in, one trying to one up the other, and it just showed how young they actually were in a mans world, but the heroine had me tipping over the edge. I lost count how many times the V Card was held like a gold trophy trying to trap one of the twins.
