Cut off an appropriate length using a pair of clean, sharp scissors to prevent the shredding of edges and contamination. Placed under sports tapes such as Zinc Oxide, Hypafix provides the best surface for tape to stick to.

To increase the adhesive strength, you can warm the dressing between the palms of your hands before applying it. Hypafix is recommended for securing catheters and drainage tubes or when fixing dressings on joints or awkward body contours. With a light stretch across the width but rigid along its length, it secures dressings and bandages. The slightly furry surface offers great adhesion to a rigid zinc oxide over the top, is permeable to water vapour, and tends to be unaffected by sweating.

The tape transversely stretches, is highly conformable and easy to apply, even on difficult joint areas.
