This meant there was a massive space in main living area of the tent, which on this occasion only held our table and chairs, however there’s easily enough space to keep a family entertained here. The canvas can be rolled really tight and secured with bungees rather than let it expand with air once in the tent bag and the poles weigh quite a bit too, but that's why we love it- it is solid once up and the envy of any camp site. We have had 10 sleep in this comfortably and still has plenty of space to move around in the good old English weather. It would be better in there was a cable entry point on both sides of the tent, because of the way we had to have out tent pitched, our 10m electric lead was barely long enough to reach in, so we had to run an additional extension lead off of it just to plug in the light and the coolbox we had. The lighter colour of the tent means that it stays a little cooler in the sun than the darker tents which is a bit of a plus. With the carpet down this tent was cosy, with plenty of room in the living area for the kids to play, or indeed for us all to sprawl out to play card games, or bring the table in and eat if the weather is bad etc. The first time one of the camp chairs made a small hole the floor (I have now bought the ground sheet and carpet to prevent this happening again), the pegs that come with it are quite poor (so we have bought more) , one of the hooks you put the pegs through snapped.
