About this deal

Just as Amy V said when she suggested Thomas Dakin Gin for this list – it’s a very smart bottle indeed! Stylish, understated and elegant. This bottle is made even more fab knowing that Ryan Reynolds currently owns the company! Once a week we’ll be carefully selecting a bottle of something alcoholic to be our 'drink of the week'. Bottles you’ve probably not tried, made in small batches, by producers who are dedicated to their craft and worth sipping to support... How We Met: I'll admit it. I was crushing on Gray Whale Gin long before ever trying the spirit, just after one look at that gorgeous blue bottle. I was already a fan of some other small-batch craft gins distilled in the U.S., but I was particularly intrigued by this gin's unconventional botanicals as well as the brand's incredibly rad, eco-friendly mission.

Fynoderee have beautiful bottles for all seasons of the year – at current time of posting it’s October so we’ll go with their Autumn gin! It's the consistent attention to detail and high-end quality that has kept me going for more drams of Blue Bottle. Le Tribute Gin was designed with the look of an old medicine container in mind. We think it achieves this in a beautiful and very stylish way! The brand is named after George Chinnery, the English painter, who began his career in Dublin, before travelling to China. The bottle is inspired by these two parts of his career – Georgian Dublin and Imperial China. The glass bottle is hand blown in Cambridge, the stoppers made in Switzerland and the feathers – made of silver of course – were designed by jeweller Antoine Sandoz (whose clients include Chanel and Tom Ford!!)If you like your gin accompanied by several sides of heavenly tapas then head to Bravas on Cotham Hill – an authentic tapas bar serving proper, Spanish measures of gin from their outstanding gin menu. Psychopomp have concocted a bespoke recipe in collaboration with the restaurant – known as ‘Gin Bravas’ with Mediterranean-style green olive, nora pepper and almond botanicals. Food and drink tours

With sales of gin fizzing, we take a look at some of these British spirit innovators who are based on the coast and find out how the location shapes their product. Unless you never set foot inside a spirits-selling establishment of any kind, you can’t have failed to notice the huge resurgence of gin in recent years. There has been an explosion of small-batch brands onto a market once dominated by the world’s drinks giants – stirring up the category with a range of exciting flavours.

The Forest Gin Bottle, designed by Wade Ceramics who have been creating beautiful designs since 1810, is made of local Staffordshire Porcelain in a bid to use all local materials! We love this ethos, and the beautiful bottle of course!
