Includes (2) replaceable blades: Stainless Steel for glass tanks and ABS plastic for acrylic tanks. Recommended to replace blades every 3-6 months to maintain optimal algae scraping If you steel trowel the surface too early, you risk "sealing" off the surface and trapping some moisture that is still trying to rise and evaporate out of the concrete. A net attachment is also included. I found this very useful to scoop out all the bits of algae that were floating around in the water after cleaning the glass. I always mag float the concrete before steel troweling. Mag floating the surface will continue to let the surface "breath" and continue to let moisture escape out the surface.

After you've mag floated the surface, you may have to let the concrete dry a bit, then you can steel trowel it. Once you've troweled the entire surface, let it dry a bit and repeat this process as many times as necessary to smooth the surface to your desired look. There are two different sponge attachments, a flat one and one that’s shaped to fit into the tank corners. The flat sponge is good on soft algae but it couldn’t make a dent in the green spot algae.

If sgn is -0, the result is only negative if the implementation supports the signed zero consistently in arithmetic operations.

So, after trying out the magnetized scrapers on the soft brown algae, we then tried them on the green spot algae to see how they did on the really tough stuff.
