About this deal

All three espresso machines from Sage feature a high-quality 54mm portafilter to hold your coffee grounds. Grind Control Theoretically the Oracle Touch has the edge (quite a big edge, to be fair) over the Touch Impress where potential shot quality is concerned too, due to the superior temperature precision and stability of the dual boiler with heated group and dual pids, but in practice what allows an espresso machine to reach its full potential, is the grinder, and the Oracle Touch and the Barista Touch Impress have the same grinder. When it comes to price by itself, the Barista Express wins, simply because it’s the cheaper machine. But if we’re talking about value, then the Barista Pro takes the title, because you get a lot more for a modestly higher price. I previously worked at a leading espresso machine brand called Sanremo. I spent over six years in the sales and technical departments, recommending high-end espresso machines to a wide range of businesses, so I'm familiar with the coffee industry. Neither is this just a hobby for me. The Pro’s LCD display is easier to use. Move the dial to the right, hit the shot button, and use the dial to easily adjust the water temperature up or down. You can see the temperature setting every time the machine is on.

Both the Sage Barista Pro and Barista Express are exceptional espresso machines designed to cater to a range of preferences and budgets. Ultimately, the decision between the two comes down to your specific needs and priorities.

Filter Coffee Machines

So, overall the Creatista Plus looks more flashy, and gives you more options plus the handy one touch milkies. The precision brewer is a brilliant filter coffee machine, and it's a new breed of filter machine vs the original old school machines that simply deliver water into a filter holder and have a hot plate to keep the coffee warm.

These machines produce excellent coffee and are available at a great price. The key difference between the Barista Touch and the Barista Pro and Express is that the Touch is closer to being a fully automatic espresso coffee machine. With the Sage Barista Touch, you won't be much involved in brewing. Instead, you'll have to choose, and the machine will brew your favourite coffee. Most people are more than happy with the cappuccino, latte and Americano these kinds of machines will make, and if you are, there's absolutely nothing wrong with bean to cup machines, they can be a very cheap, convenient and reliable way to drink great quality coffee shop favourites at home. On the Express, you can still change almost all the same settings, except for programming pre-infusion time. The problem is I had to keep referring to the manual to remember how to change those settings.
