Manchester will celebrate the global International Bachata Day by supporting a charity that has a personal meaning to one of our local dancers. This means that all the money raised on this event will be donated to this specific social cause. Laura Olivares, our bachatera/kizombera, apart from dancing all the time, is involved in a project with Hope for Justice. This organisation’s aim is to fight modern slavery, preventing human trafficking and helping victims affected by it world-wide. Laura will be travelling soon to Ethiopia as a volunteer to support street children, through the programme ‘Connecting HR Africa 2019’.
