If the result of the hit roll is equal to or greater than the attacking model’s Ballistic Skill (BS) characteristic (if the attack is being made with a ranged weapon) or its Weapon Skill (WS) characteristic (if the attack is being made with a melee weapon), then that attack scores one hit against the target unit.

WHEN: In any phase, just after you have made a Hit roll, a Wound roll, a Damage roll, a saving throw, an Advance roll, a Charge roll, a Desperate Escape test, a Hazardous test, or just after you have rolled the dice to determine the number of attacks made with a weapon, for an attack, model or unit from your army. Wardens come armed with a Castellan Axe and a Misericordia, with the option to trade out the axe for the Guardian Spear. Assemblies of Adeptus Custodes include warriors with an enormous range of combat experience against myriad foes.

Until the start of your next Command phase, that unit benefits from that stance, instead of the active ka’tah stance(s) of your army. When setting objective markers up on the battlefield, place them so they are centred on the point specified by the mission.

In her third Command phase, she can select Dacatarai stance 2 to be active, or she can instead select Calistus stance 1 or 2 to be active, as she has previously selected a secondary ka’tah stance. Models can move over enemy models when Falling Back, but you must take Desperate Escape tests for them before they do so (excluding models that are TITANIC or can FLY). Demon Primarchs, Knights, anything with high Toughness values don’t want to be getting hit by a plethora of attacks from these axes. If an attack inflicts mortal wounds in addition to any normal damage, but the normal damage is subsequently saved, the target unit still suffers those mortal wounds, as described above. Use this Stratagem in any phase, when an enemy WARLORD is destroyed by a SOLAR WATCH unit from your army.
