About this deal

The Frames comes in two polarized lens styles (the more colourful of which is sold as an optional extra) that are fairly easy to pop out and swap around should you desire. The one great thing about all three designs of the Bose Frames is that you can fit prescription lenses quite easily. So Bose has taken another crack at its audio sunglasses and produced three new styles to join the existing Rondo and Alto – these are the sporty Tempo, and the everyday-use Tenor and Soprano. So they’re not the best mix for noisy environments – you’ll want to keep to regular noise cancelling cans instead.

It’s a jaw-dropping experience that leaves you free to engage with the world around you, all while discreetly listening to music.Polarized lenses — These music sunglasses include shatter- and scratch-resistant polarized lenses to reduce glare, enhance visibility, and block 99% UVA/B rays. Access Voice Control The Frames' microphone acts as an extension of the microphone in your mobile device. This means keeping track of yet another charging cable instead of using a USB-C cable, which oddly you can find on the Frames Tempo. One issue I took with the first-generation frames was how it felt like they were digging into the tops of my ears.

Again, given the Tempo has been designed for athletes, they benefit from 22mm drivers in each arm and the sound is surprisingly bassy. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Bose clearly took the criticism to heart because the second-generation Bose Frames now feature up to 5. These two models aren't quite as loud as the Tempo – at 50% volume, the Tempo was more than sufficient on a riverside walk with squawking birds and chatting strollers, while we needed to up the volume on the Soprano to about 65% to enjoy our tunes. I don't like listening to music in the car but my girlfriend does, so these allow her to do her thing without bugging me.Two new luxe silhouettes flaunt polarized lenses and premium craftsmanship, while exclusive Bose Open Ear Audio™ technology produces sound you’d never expect from sunglasses. With seamless capacitive touch and an integrated motion sensor, these cat-eye Bluetooth sunglasses’ controls are as modern as their concept.

Without a visual component, many people thought Bluetooth audio sunglasses were a somewhat silly idea. I know that I've never been able to get them to stay in my ears during any moderately strenuous physical activity.Double taps will bring up your preferred digital assistant (Siri or Google Assistant, depending on your paired phone's platform), while laying the Frames upside down anywhere will turn them off – another great feature that makes them user-friendly as it's a natural thing to do when removing any pair of sunglasses. Sure, you can turn on transparency mode on your AirPods, but it's still not the same as leaving your ears fully open. The reference number, serial number, and Unique Device Identifier (UDI) are located inside left arm.
