About this deal

I look at her, she’s the girl I supposedly make love to. The girl I’ve apparently made love to for a while. The girl I apparently still love. I just wish I could remember …” Silas was your typical New Adult male MC. You know, the kind all the girls will be dropping their panties for all over the interwebs. Kinda like this guy . . . As the story progresses through dual povs of Charlie and Silas we find that they have been long time family friends, boyfriend/girlfriend with one another for most their lives and their families are connected. I liked that the concept is unique and original, plus I expected nothing less when it involves these two brilliant authors. Imagine Tarryn's twisted ideas thrown in with CoHo's signature hero that you'd like to take home for Sunday brunches with your family. And BAM! You'll get this little brainchild that comes in the form of an unconventional love story shrouded in mystery but also sprinkled with some adorable humor and yummy grilled cheese (that's all on you, CoHo).

My stalking ventures have already commenced but so far I haven’t seen any teasers yet for the second and final book of this series. Oh I also totally guessed which author wrote which character I think friends will easily appreciate both author’s touches and join me in counting down the days till May 18th!! All I can say is that I loved this book. Silas was awesome, funny, romantic, clever. Charlie I felt for, I also admired her. The mystery & plot was totally surprising and unique. And I am just DYING for the next book. There's not really any steaminess...a little romance and a juicy kiss though. Oh and lots of goose bumps! ;)And let it be known that there is this HUGE cliffy at the end of this one that can rival against that cliffy in Nocte<-- yeah remember THAT gigantic cliffy where you'd want to hunt down the author and hold her at gunpoint to reveal the answers we need?! I must say... even though I've had many issues with Hoover's books in the past, she and Tarryn Fisher have weaved one hell of a compelling tale here. Never Never" by Hoover & Fisher collaboration is a suspenseful and captivating novel that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The concept is unique enough to pique your interest from the beginning. The story follows the lives of two high school students, Charlie and Silas, who wake up one day with no memory of who they are or how they got there. As they work together to uncover the truth behind their missing memories, they begin to realize that their lives are much more intertwined than they ever could have imagined.

They discover that in recent times, they have not been on the best of terms, but also that they’ve known one another since birth and their love runs deep.

Romance does come out when Charlie and Silas are trying to figure out the details of their relationship - as well as many skeletons in the closet - but unlike Hoover's other works, this story feels like so much more than a romance. It's dark, mysterious, even creepy at times. Probably not for readers who like a clear distinction between the realistic and the supernatural because I'm still not sure which applies here. Heart-stopping and utterly captivating, the complete Never Never series, now available in one volume, will leave readers breathless and believing in the power of love.

To my disappointment this is a pretty short story that left me still not sure where the story is going and what the future holds for Silas and Charlie. Part 1 mostly focuses on these two characters earnestly trying to figure out what happened to them, why it only happened to them and no one around them, how they can get answers, and how to go about their daily lives without seeming suspicious. It’s about the Hero and Heroine not having any memories. They do not know who they are and why they both lost their memories. The Never Never series would appeal to fans of young adult romance, romantic suspense, and young adult fantasy and paranormal romance. I guess I just feel like the book let me down. It had me building up so cool theories and then everything just fizzled out.

I'm really interested in what will happen next! The things we found out in the first book left me with my mouth hanging open! What's up with that Brian and Avril?! Ughhh, I want to slap Silas and Charlie, I want to know why they did those horrible things! I also want to know what's causing their memory loss! The ending left us with a big cliffhanger and I almost cried! I don't know why! I think it's because I was able to put myself in the place of the main characters and I felt what Silas was feeling in that moment with the letters, I was so confused and worried and with a hole in my heart! The characters are also well-developed, with both Charlie and Silas being likable and relatable protagonists. Their chemistry is palpable, and their growing relationship adds an additional layer of depth to the story.
