Their classic Sambuca base is made with intensely flavourful star anise and a subtle botanical backing of cinnamon, fennel, bitter and sweet oranges, coriander, and white pepper.

Antica Sambuca is developed and custom-made by prodigal master-distiller Nicola del Toso at the Antiche distillery nestled between Venice and the Dolomite mountains. They mention that it's a fantastic liqueur, nice as a digestive after dinner and that it arrived promptly. Tasting Notes: Aromas of anise and sweet apples, the mouthfeel is syrupy with lots of apple notes, including baked apples on the finish. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
