Even though Little Miss Greedy is the thirteenth in the Little Miss series, she is placed twenty-third in the Little Miss Library, between Little Miss Tidy and Little Miss Fickle which were the twenty-fifth and twentieth books in the Little Miss series, respectively, though they are respectively placed twenty-second and twenty-fourth in the Little Miss Library. The characters spawned over 700 related products and brought along the introduction of the Little Miss books introduced in the early '80s.It, too, was made into a television series in 1983, which was narrated by John Alderton, who, with Pauline Collins, voiced the Men and Misses, respectively. As a result, she gets sick from food poisoning, much to the astonishment of her two friends, who can't understand how one glass of orange juice can have such a disastrous effect.
