With this understanding of the relationship between recipe author and recipe user, I did make a few of the recipes and I did adapt them as I saw fit.

Her section on rhubarb is to die for — so many ways to simply cook and serve a bunch of deliciousness. There are far fewer British classics here, although you will find some - particularly in the chapter on ‘A Loving Defence of Brown Food’ (one of my favourites).
