About this deal

Greg's first retirement is especially tragic when you really think about it. Greg was only 35 when he had to leave the group. By all rights, he should've been in his prime and had years ahead of him with the group, but the OI was slowly breaking down his body and left him unable to perform at all. He stated in 2020 that his condition has been under control for over a decade but you can tell just by looking at his aged appearance that the damage has already been done. He's the same age as Simon but looks much older due to the stress his condition has caused him.

I read through this chain but didn’t find the one I’m looking for. I learned it more recently (last 5 years) at Girl Scout camp in Oregon, but no longer attend. It sounds like, although my spelling is probably WAY off: This interview with Anthony following Greg's hospitalization. Anthony's practically crying himself. Becomes Fridge Horror when you realize Anto had panic-induced convulsions on the floor of Greg's hospital room not long before. Super Wiggles (2022) • Wiggly Nursery Rhymes (2022) • Fruit Salad Big Show (2022) • The Sound of Halloween (2023) • The Sound of Christmas (2023) My mom taught us an old eskimo song that she learned in girl scouts, but none of it looks like the verses you have here… How in Italy it’s not Santa Claus who gives gifts to all the children. It’s La Befana, a friendly witch!

Daniel C. wrote, “It is an Inuit song about hunting…I learned this song in grade one..My teacher said at the end the hunter dies by drowning.”

Shortly after the above, Anthony asks, "Are you ready, Greg?" Greg replies, "Yeah, I think so." Again, without context, that would be mildly concerning at most. Knowing that Greg was going to all-but die a few minutes later makes the moment outright terrifying. All of the social media posts Lachy made in support of and out of love for Emma in the time leading up to her endometriosis surgery become this when you realize they were already in their trial separation at that point. They really do love each other, even if they are separated. Terry Murray appeared as a supporting guitarist for the other performers and makes a minor appearance halfway towards " Get Ready To Wiggle". Looking for a song that me and a friend from another part of the U.S. both know that goes something like… On The Road With The Wiggles (Documentary, 2008) • Wiggle Treats! (Promo video, 2011) • Everybody Clap! Everybody Sing! (Documentary, 2011)Jeff as the bow king from " Roll the Acrobats" rolling on the ground, was later used in Wiggle House. Tim wrote, "I was taught this song in the 6th Grade. Our teacher said it was an Eskimo song. The okki tokki portion was the Eskimo in his kayak paddling. We would all cross our arms and move them as though rowing a kayak with a double paddle and keep time with the lyrics. sung very lively, with actions being: paddle your kayak, fist-over-fist, one stroke on the right side, then 1 stroke on the left side)

I also have a memory of a song I sang as a Girl Scout. I recall that it was the story of an Eskimo hunter/fisherman looking for his catch. I remember the two verses you share as well others that take him through the hunt. I also recall a ‘refrain’ that goes: “eee-ss a noma mis a wa wa. eee-s a noma mis a wa wa.” Does that sound familiar? There were motions to go with each verse, too… I would LOVE to find the origins and right words for the song, as well! Thank you for asking your question so that I could happen upon the possible answer!I Remember a song from Girl Scouts in the 60’s. I don’t know how to spell it since the Indian language was primarily a spoken language. I’ll do my best. My words are a slight bit different. How Scandinavians mark the end of the season by “plundering” the Christmas Tree on St. Knut’s Day. That’s a fun way to get children to help with the post-holiday clean-up! Songs like " Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport", " Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush" and " Waltzing Matilda" were on the original concert but weren't on the DVD. " Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" wasn't performed live, but it was on the end credits. Iron Woobie: That said, he's managed to keep going until the present day and doesn't show any signs of stopping in the near future. The little Eskimo sets off on his first seal hunt with a kayak alone and says goodbye to his parents. Then we sing the song three times until he slowly approaches the seal, then during the fourth “Epsimora” he drops the prey and lifts it into the kayak and slowly heads home. However, in front of his village, the kayak overturns and the loot is lost. In the end, your mother says, “No problem, little boy, next time you’ll manage to hunt it.”

Children do the actions of paddling a canoe while sitting on the floor) Hey misha, dey misha, do misha dey, (Then the next part goes something like this…) Hexa coola misha rona ,hexa coola misha rona (Children then stop rowing and look around with hand up at forehead then repeat the song). I am looking for the lyrics to a Native American song and one of the lines is “We humble ourselves to the children.” Can anyone help?? I’m now 42 yrs old, but in kindergarten we sang this inuit seal hunting song and I remember it well, in adition to all the actions – I still humm it from time to time:Please Help ! My niece is getting married in a few weeks and her sister wants to give a marriage toast to incorporate the some of the words from an old song or story she remembered from kindergarten. umiak, kiyak, muluk, tupik, are words to a song they made us sing in grade school,do you know where to find the song name? A real Gallows Humor example: when Greg was first getting diagnosed with OI, and his condition was still unclear to doctors, he was given seven years to live. As of 2020, it's been 14 years since that was said, and Greg just survived a medical incident that kills 92% of its victims. Greg's almost comically resilient at this point.
