About this deal

Summary: Chapter Seven of "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself" is titled "The Gap." The main theme of this chapter is the concept of the gap between our thoughts and our reality, and how we can use this gap to create the life we desire.

Dr. Joe Dispenza is a chiropractor, educator, lecturer and New York Times bestselling author. He also holds degrees in biochemistry and neuroscience. We keep our troubles close to us because they help reinforce who we are. We usually wait until things get really bad to change. This is true not only for individuals but also for society. Some of the greatest scientists alive believe that it is entirely possible that we are living in a “universal choose-your-own-adventure” narrative! You are only limited by the questions you ask, the knowledge you embrace, and your ability to keep an open mind and heart.

Synopsis: The main theme of this chapter is the concept of time and how our perception of time can limit our ability to create the life we desire. By cultivating a sense of presence and mindfulness, engaging in creative visualization and mental rehearsal, and letting go of our past limitations, we can expand our sense of time and open ourselves up to new possibilities and opportunities. However, Dr. Dispenza offers a solution - the concept of "memory reconsolidation." This suggests that memories are not fixed but can be changed by new experiences and information. By revisiting past memories and experiences with a new perspective, we can create new neural networks and change our patterns of behavior and beliefs. Summary: Chapter Four of "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself" by Dr. Joe Dispenza is titled "Overcoming Time." The main theme of this chapter is the concept of time and how our perception of time can limit our ability to create the life we desire. And yet – it works in practice as well. That’s why we can have such a thing as a quantum computer, in fact; unlike regular computers which transfer information in terms of bits, quantum computers transfer it in terms of qubits. And unlike bits which can be either in the state of 1 or in the state of 0, qubits can be in a superimposed state, that is, a 10 or 01!In contrast, living in a state of creation means that we are focused on the possibilities of the future rather than the limitations of the past. It means that we are in a state of flow, where our thoughts, emotions, and actions are aligned with our desires and aspirations. In this state, we are able to tap into our full potential and create the life we truly desire. Finally, he emphasizes the importance of "intention," which is the idea that our thoughts and emotions can influence the physical world. By setting clear intentions and focusing our attention on positive outcomes, we can create a new reality that aligns with our deepest desires. In Chapter 13 of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, Joe Dispenza provides the seventh step of the meditative process:

Then, it’s time to put your Limbic brain into action. When a situation arises which demands bravery, willingly force your body to act the way you tried teaching yourself is the best one.

Dr. Dispenza explains that most of us spend our time focusing on our external environment, reacting to the circumstances and situations that we encounter in our daily lives. However, he argues that this approach limits our potential and reinforces the same patterns of behavior that we have always experienced. Synopsis: The main theme of Chapter Nine of "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself" is the importance of establishing a regular meditation practice and the steps involved in preparing for a successful meditation session. Setting a clear intention, creating a quiet and comfortable environment, using a specific technique, and maintaining a relaxed and open mindset are all essential for developing the skill of meditation and achieving the desired changes in our lives. The book is heavily based on Dr. Dispenza's research and personal experiences and has been well-received by readers interested in the intersection of science, consciousness, and personal growth. Who is the Author of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself? The second step is creating a quiet and comfort Identity Gap “between who you really are in your inner, private world and how you appear in the outer, social world”

In Part II of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, Joe Dispenza provides relevant information about the brain to help you understand how meditation works to change your life. Chapter 6: Three Brains: Thinking to Doing to Being In this book, I want to share some of what I learned along the way and show you, by exploring how mind and matter are interrelated, how you can apply these principles not only to your body, but to any aspect of your life.” True happiness has nothing to do with pleasure, because the reliance on feeling good from such intensely stimulating things only moves us further from real joy.” In addition, Dr. Dispenza introduces the concept of the "quantum observer" and how our consciousness can affect the behavior of subatomic particles. He suggests that this concept can be applied to our thoughts and emotions, as our consciousness can affect the behavior of our own neural pathways. There are parts of this book that I found questionable/not helpful. But there were also some points that I thought were interesting. I agree that negative thoughts create a negative reality, and the mind must be “made new,” so to speak. I’m not sure that the specific techniques used to “remake the mind” in the book are useful. But you can make your own call. FOREWORD (By Daniel G. Amen, MD)

Every time you experience a thought or emotion, it triggers a chain reaction of neural activity in your brain. As you continue to think and feel, your brain begins to wire itself in a pattern, creating neural pathways that define your beliefs and habits. Your brain is plastic, meaning it can adapt to new experiences and learning. One of the key strategies for overcoming physical limitations is to cultivate a positive mindset. Dr. Dispenza suggests that by focusing our thoughts and emotions on positive outcomes and possibilities, we can activate the body's natural healing mechanisms. He also emphasizes the importance of practicing mindfulness and meditation as a means of reducing stress and promoting relaxation, which can help to promote physical health and well-being. Well, this is what attracted Dispenza’s attention the most. And the best way to demonstrate what it could mean in practical terms is by using a thought experiment.
