SEM Sessions: In Conversation with Crazy P - School of Electronic Music - Manchester

Crazy P, founded in Nottingham over 20 years ago by Jim Baron and Chris Todd and joined soon after by Danielle Moore, tour their DJ, Soundsystem and Live shows all over the world; if you haven't heard 'Heartbreaker' and 'Open for Service' then get them on now! Following 30 million streams for their previous album 'Walk Dance Talk Sing', sold-out headline gigs in Manchester and Percolate in London, supporting Chic and Chaka Khan, plus shows for Bluedot Festival, Festival Number 6, Love International Festival and Boiler Room in Bali, the Nottingham/Manchester band are more in demand than ever. Their latest album release 'Age of the Ego' (http://bit.ly/AgeoftheEgo) has taken them from strength to strength, and we're extremely happy to announce that Jim (Ron Basejam) and Danielle are able to take a chunk of time out from their packed gig schedule to join us at the School of Electronic Music for an evening of Q+A, on Thursday, October 10th from 6pm. We will explore the 20+ years of their amazing musical journey as DJs, a soundsystem and a live show, along with delving into some track deconstructions and their approach to producing music.Afterwards we invite you to stick around for free tea, coffee and networking. All proceeds will be donated to the charity of Crazy P's choice, Help Musicians UK. They offer a dedicated 24/7 support line for those in the UK music industry. If you're a SEM student, tickets are £3 instead of £5.Follow Crazy P:https://www.facebook.com/crazypmusic/https://www.instagram.com/crazypmusichttp://bit.ly/CrazyPSpotifyhttps://soundcloud.com/crazyphttps://twitter.com/crazypmusic- - - School of Electronic Music is based in Manchester.
