Request a temporary oauth access token. Use the result from the previous step for the authorization code in the body. copy to clipboard curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/oauth/accesstoken" -H "accept: application/json" -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d @- < "}

You should now be able to monitor your sensors over the internet. You can test this by turning the Bluetooth off on your mobile device. Provided all of the sensors are in range to the Gateway, you should be able to see them update in the app roughly once per minute. A small icon shaped like the Gateway will appear to the right of the sensor's name if the sensor is communicating via the Gateway. You can also verify that the information is up to date by looking at the "Last seen" time right beneath the sensor's name on the list of devices in the main screen of the app. readings should be within the last couple of minutes of the current time if the sensor is communicating normally through the Gateway.

Paths

To read data, write any 32-bit value to the characteristic (e.g. 0x01000000). This triggers a sensor read. Once the read is complete (typically less than 100ms later), the data will be available to read, in hundredths of Pascals (e.g. 97813.64Pa will read 9781364). Give the SensorPush at least 30 minutes to acclimate, be sure you have an updated reading and then adjust the calibration controls so the value reads exactly 32.0°F (0.0°C) You can also use the button in the top right corner of the LightBlue app to have it perform the hex to decimal conversion for you. Just select the “4 Byte Signed Int Little Endian” option. Now the phone will form a temporary connection to the gateway. This might take a minute or two. If it takes longer than that, please try restarting the phone and gateway and trying again. If you still cannot connect, let us know and we'll be happy to help.

When we first installed the Sensor Push we set up push notifications. That way if the humidifier runs out of water, our phone lets us know that the humidity is too low. Same with the false triggering of the heating system when the front door is open. We open the door to talk to a neighbor and the heater turns on… heating the nursery to about 75-80 degrees in a matter of minutes. Our phones now let us know to open the nursery door mid nap to cool things down. The battery in the HT1 sensor device generally has a 1 to 2 year lifespan, often closer to two (more in warm conditions and less in extreme cold), but there are a few details to consider when changing it. Request a list of gateways. Add the header "Authorization: " using the accesstoken returned in the OAuth Access step. copy to clipboard curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/devices/gateways" -H "accept: application/json" -H "Authorization: " -d @- < curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/devices/gateways" \ We own neither a boat nor an RV, so this is purely speculative. But it is based on experiences of friends and family. Add the SensorPush G1 WiFi Gatewayto monitor all of your SensorPush sensors remotely via the internet!

Cousins & Sears is an award-winning creative technology design and development studio. The Brooklyn, NY-based team has worked on behalf of an incredibly wide variety of organizations across virtually every industry imaginable. Description: Sets the advertising interval of the device, in units of 625 microseconds. The default is 2056, which corresponds to 1285ms. The sensors had to be compact. They needed to be accurate and have a long battery life. They needed to store historical data for later analysis. Even when you're away, the Smart Sensor will continue to monitor conditions and upon your return the data will be seamlessly pushed to your Android device which will notify you of problematic conditions so you can take action.

We’re not crazy serious wine snobs by any stretch, but we do care enough to protect our investment in a cheap-ish wine fridge. For years we’ve set the dual zone wine fridge to temperatures recommended by publications like Wine Spectator. To our untrained pallets… everything seemed fine. Maybe a little on the cold side, but not refrigerator cold. We should point out that the Sensorpush isn’t technically a Wi-Fi device. The individual sensors transmit via Bluetooth. We had no problems with data transmission while using it. But, it would be nice to have a true Wi-Fi wireless thermometer for times when we’re away from home. While the wireless range of the SensorPush devices can be quite impressive, this is not the time to push the limits. Again, we just want to eliminate as many variables as possible, so it's best if you're right next to the sensor, or at least in the same room. For the following step, you'll need to have direct access to the sensor.In the dashboard UI, there are two primary modes (selected in upper left). They are the "Graph" and the "Status" modes. Graph mode is the time series data from sensors. Status mode is the current conditions, the signal strength, the last reading, and other details for your sensors. In this view, red indicates that the sensor's last reading is out of date. This is particularly useful for accounts with large numbers of sensors. If the sensor was working previously, sometimes performing the add sensor process again can effectively "reboot" the sensor and get it working again. If you are able to physically access the sensor, this is a good next step. To do this, you do not need to remove or delete the sensor from the app, as this will delete all of your data and settings. With the sensor within reach, just tap the add device button in the upper right corner of the main screen in the app and select "Add Sensor" and follow the prompts.

SensorPush is the answer. Our Smart Sensors are compact and easy to use. They work with painstakingly designed mobile apps that not only make you love using them, but also require as little use as possible. It takes just a few moments to install our free app and pair your first sensor. After that, it's up to you. This was the moment we really, truly started to care about temperature and relative humidity. We wanted our new baby to be comfortable. And, since he can’t really tell us himself we needed to collect some data. A Simple Digital Thermometer “Works” a Wireless Thermometer / Hygrometer is Better. If you love data, SensorPush has it, beautifully graphed in-app or easily exported to CSV for use in software like MS Excel. Either way, you'll be amazed by what you can learn from a complete history of minute-by-minute updates. Speaking of RV’s and boats…. A sensor push is a great way to keep tabs on the temperature inside a cooler or fridge while camping. We just need to figure out how to get a heads up when the kids snooping around in the cooler.
