I agree that it won't hold up next year, but this year it ticks off an important market segment that Nintendo has left abandoned since the DS. Of course, while the Switch does have a built-in friends list, it currently lacks an expansive online service, as Nintendo delayed the Switch’s paid online network to 2018.
The graphics are simpler, particularly noticeable in textures (blades of grass; the fabric of players’ shirts) and lighting. Squad building challenges and single-player draft make the cut, but they’re aimed at seasoned FUT veterans already familiar with the modes intricacies – who, in all likelihood, are already enjoying the better overall experience the game offers on other consoles.

Obviously, it still feels like FIFA – the controls are mapped the same way and as such the method of attacking, defending and scoring is much the same across all versions. Think of it as a card collecting game, where the cards you obtain are the players and your plan is to create the best team you can.
Any comparative limitations in graphical power are easily compensated by the ability to lift your career mode from the dock and keep playing on the go. For all those people going on about xbox one and ps4 versions being the ones to go for is all well agood if you own one of those consoles.I figured it wouldn't be as good as the PS4/Xbox One versions but I didn't realize it would be missing this much content.
