About this deal

Stable circuit】 This flashlight is designed with Nichia 219B sw45k LED lighting circuit, and the stable chip is the characteristic of this product in the case of striving for higher lighting demand. At the same time the product's long standby time is also great performance.

The user interface actually has some programming features. Mode memory can be turned on or off (default is off, thankfully). There are a bunch of mode options, too. Using single AAA battery, max 90 lumens, or 10440 Li-ion battery, max 240 lumens. Flat top, UNPROTECTED 10440 battery suggested. Some button-top batteries may also work, but some brands make the button to long which might cause a problem. Where the Pineapple Mini in aluminum shines is the diameter and weight. It’s as skinny as my other AAA lights, while being as light as the Beta QR-v2 which weights the least of my small lights. This Pineapple Mini is thin and lightweight — which is a potent combo. Where it falls behind is the length, as it is easily the longest of the group. Mini easy to carry】 Reylight build aviation-grade aluminum alloy, the overall length of only 89mm, diameter 15mm, small head easy to carry, occupy little space. Whether it is going out / work / night out and other occasions are suitable. Because the first few hours are more interesting, I cut the runtime graph short, so you can better understand the runtime graph.Built like the proverbial tank, the ReyLight Pineapple Mini features a precision-machined lightweight aluminum body keeping your carry light but effective. The signature knurling on the body (inspired by the exterior of a pineapple) provides a firm and secure gripping area for enhanced handling. Measurement disclaimer: Testing flashlights is my hobby. I use hobbyist-level equipment for testing, including some I made myself. Try not to get buried in the details of manufacturer specifications versus measurements recorded here; A certain amount of difference (say, 10 or 15%) is perfectly reasonable. What’s Included

When duty calls, it rises to the challenge with its Nichia 219B LED, which puts out up to 90 lumens (when using a AAA cell) of beautifully warm light that renders colors accurately and allows you to see better in the dark. While I don’t have any issues with the LED, I do find that it’s mostly too cool for my tastes. I think it’s the right color temperature for a light of this size, and there are many worse options, so while I find it cool — I would struggle to suggest a better LED for a light like this. Too warm at low outputs from a small lens can really make it not perform well, and given that this is a daily carry light, it’s likely you will use it in daylight making this the right color temp to use.

No need for a review as the base light has already had a few, just wanted to let fellow penlight enthusiasts know that the ReyLight Pineapple is now available in 2xAAA configuration. For reference, here’s a baseline shot, with all the room lights off and almost nothing hitting the sensor. Also, here’s the light with the worst PWM I could find. I’m adding multiple timescales, so it’ll be easier to compare to the test light. Unfortunately, the PWM on this light is so bad that it doesn’t even work with my normal scale, which is 50 microseconds (50us). 10ms. 5ms. 2ms. 1ms. 0.5ms. 0.2ms. In a display faster than 0.2ms or so, the on/off cycle is more than one screen, so it’d just (very incorrectly) look like a flat line. I wrote more about this Ultrafire WF-602C flashlight and explained a little about PWM too. User Interface and Operation The ReyLight Pineapple Mini aluminum is 89mm in length (including the switch button) with a diameter of 15mm and it weighs 33 grams.

Danke!

By default, it comes with a 4-mode group. Moon, low, medium, and high. But if you want to use a different user interface, you can choose between 4. See for the explanation at the bottom of this paragraph. Press the button 8+ times. The light will now blink once, then strobe, blink twice, then strobe, blink three times, then strobe…After 5 blinks and a strobe, the sequence repeats. Now, more than 8 years later, Rey has his own lineup of flashlights, including the Reylight Pineapple Mini, which is available in several materials, including brass, titanium, and timascus. The one I’m reviewing is the stonewashed Titanium version. When you start using the light, you’ll be surprised by the output. The mild orange peel on the reflector does a good job offering a nice all around beam shape — wide enough to walk with the light, but focused enough to get some throw out of it. It’s a good balance and I am a fan. Reylight even added a glow in the dark o-ring right at the lens, which is a nice add. It doesn’t glow very bright or for very long, but if you turn off the light and happen to fumble it while putting it away in the dark, you’ll likely see that glow to find it again.
