If Justice was entertaining throughout, then a disappointing ending might be overlooked, but Justice isn’t entertaining throughout. Hal Jordan’s sent to some nether region of space he can’t escape from for no reason except to keep him out of the story. But rather than just going the Justice League route and only involving a handful of heroes or incapacitating a few of the unnecessary ones to make for a more reasonable cast, Krueger and Ross throw everyone at the page. Absolute edition usually includes bonus materials such as the creation of the work, alternative covers, sketches, comic scripts, and more.

Because of the sheer length of this book I found a lot of moments and interactions with side characters pointless as it added nothing to the story. The concluding chapter has a couple of very powerful characters do what they could have done earlier, and the main villain’s scheme is revealed as something that they could have carried out in less complicated ways without involving the Justice League in the first place.

The clash between Luthor and Braniac was great, as those two on the same team, you had to expect, they would be trying to deceive one-another to their own ends. This is my favorite graphic novel of my favorite comic book hero, done by one of my favorite artists.

Aquaman, Wonder Woman and the Atom quickly take down Black Manta, Cheetah and Poison Ivy, leaving only Brainiac at large. In the process, the Joker finds out that he hasn't been invited to Luthor's secret society of supervillains and becomes furious.The supervillain team isn't based on any one from the comics, but instead based on the villain group from the Super Friends television series.

Its story involves the superhero team known as the Justice League of America confronting the supervillain team the Legion of Doom after every supervillain is motivated by a shared dream that seems to be a vision of the planet's destruction, which they intend to avoid. This landmark volume also features an introduction by award-winning book designer and author Chip Kidd, and an eight-page foldout featuring an image of every JLA member by Ross.
