About this deal

I had no idea who the author was having never watched the programme, and I may not have bought it had I known as I may have thought it a gimmick. The book itself was always going to appeal to me – you can see from the front cover that it’s going to be very ‘Instagrammable’ in its style. She is a PETA ambassador and RSPCA campaigner, as well as having launched her own cruelty-free make-up range, Basic Bitch. Take the fairly nondescript sounding ‘Hot Chocolate’ recipe for example, which includes cacao (standard), cinnamon (nice twist), amaretto (oh yeah) and Baileys (GOOD LORD).

Packed with comforting, easy-to-make and totally delicious recipes, Feed Me Vegan will show that you can be vegan and still have your cake (and mac and cheese, and lasagne, and pancakes) and eat it.I take my hat off to her, she has used her fame to spread the vegan message and has done a delicious job of doing so. if I could - but as with her other book, I don't really like some of the styling which is too glossy and curated for me. Love how the recipes cater to providing delicious alternatives to much loved comfort foods and home favourites!

Crammed full of flavourful and satisfying vegan fare, Feed Me Vegan will have even the most dedicated carnivore asking for seconds. So impressed, the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the use of vegan cheese - its gross not for me, I knew this before this cook book. I don't really eat sweet food so maybe too much coverage of cakes and sweets for us, but there's lots of main meals, breakfasts and a great selection of sides and sauces to make, and each section is fairly equally weighted. I'm not Vegan but since April I have been Vegetarian and embrace the idea of limiting animal-based products as best as I can, this book is excellent for ideas on how to try Vegan, what ingredients are best and what are vegan without you being aware. Lucy, who formerly featured in the BAFTA winning series, Made in Chelsea , is committed to animal activism.

Passionate vegan (and TV celebrity of Made in Chelsea fame) Lucy Watson has you covered with tempting meals from morning to evening – as well as all the sweet stuff and snacks you crave in between! Feed Me Vegan: For All Occasions is full of easy recipes for everyday veganism , from a quick, week night pasta to blow-out Sunday feasts .

I wanted to have it out in my kitchen almost as a show piece but now it has to stay in a cupboard until I actually need to use it.the highlight of this book has to be the final chapter, Feed Me Celebration, which covers all the desserts you didn't think were possible, including 'chocolate fondant,' 'Eton mess' and 'Christmas cake' . If I hadn’t just polished off my bottle of vegan Bailey’s Irish Cream I would have nailed that recipe. The recipes in this cookbook range from healthy to junk food, which is exactly what I was looking for. The recipe looks like a fairly standard bean chilli, not overly complicated so it might be good for a weeknight meal. Enough to turn the head of even the most dedicated carnivore, Feed Me Vegan is full of tasty, satisfying vegan fare which will have everyone asking for seconds.

all in all, this book is probably good for a starter veggie, but im not, so i need cookbooks with a bit more bite to them. If I had to pick something, I’d say that they were ever so slightly dense so it’d be nice to lighten them up a bit. p>Read about how we’ll protect and use your data in our Privacy Notice. If you’re holding my arm behind my back forcing me to say something then I think you could actually get away with cooking this for half the time or just dishing it up and popping it under the grill to melt the cheeze topping. I’d also add more chilli for a little bit more punch but that’s totally down to personal preference.
