The result is a sophisticated and long-lasting citrus woody scent that is perfect for the modern man who wants to make a statement. Have not tried L'aventure (Aventus) clone (I think their GIT clone is quite good), but so far I pick the Mont Blanc Explorer over CDNIM even though the performance is much weaker.

As a fragrance on its own, without comparing, its decent, maybe even great for people that aren't into niche frags. The "lemon" smell isn't there anymore in the new bottle its more of a citrus smell that comes off a little strong for 5 minutes then it transforms into a smoky, woody and fruity scent which is absolutely lovely. Will try the limited edition next because others say it's a little softer but am very very happy with this. Strongly inspired by Creed Aventus, not an exact reproduction but for the value this is an absolute must-try for fans. They are produced by companies that concentrate in this area rather than large-scale haute-couteur houses that purvey everything from fashion and accessories to make-up.Way too synthetic and harsh, dry down is over hype, projection and longevity is there, 9-12 hrs on my skin easily and will project decently for at least an hour or two with 3 sprays. Bought this on a whim since I had heard this is meant to replicate (to an extent the same scent as creed aventus), didn't really believe it till I got it in-hand and it smells amazing!

I go into a gas station in the middle of a small town in Texas for snacks and I’m going about my day, when I get a whiff of something fresh, masculine and spicy in an unexpected way! The 20ml oil concentrate version is perhaps the best in terms of quality and layering it the any of the sprayable EDT, EDP, Pure Parfum or Limited version gives the best overall experience. I also did the nonsense recommendation of waiting 20 mins for it to dry down and it still does not compare. Birch can add a smoky and slightly leathery undertone, while jasmine and rose to introduce floral elegance and complexity to the composition. I think as those accords dies down the aromatic accord breathes more and the 3 blend to make for a pine tree smell.nothing can beat it, value wise I would put this fragrance a tier above its own in the 40-60 usd range. For those who say it smells harsh even after several hours, it might be cuz you're smelling it from too close, that's why this thing lasts like 8 hours. But now I really can’t say that the difference between this 7/19 batch and my Aventus samples matters.
