Finally now that I am back in the groove (of publishing content at least) it means we will be having regular episodes of Your Custom Hotwheels – the time when it’s not about My Custom Hotwheels, it’s about Yours – and boy have you guys and gals delivered!

Hot Wheels is a pretty good creative outlet because if you work at an actual car company, you can get trapped designing the door handle or the knob on the radio. The collection reflected the custom, hot-rod and muscle-car scene of the era with deep candy colours, plenty of chrome and engines that popped from the hood. I used MEK to solvent-bond the rod pieces together to make the roll bar and supports, then painted it with flat black paint.
