About this deal

We've just added a new bar to our line...in response to requests for a longer bar. We are proud to introduce the John Pearse® "LONG JOHN"™ which is a 15/16" diameter bar with a length of 3-1/2 inches!

These three elements are the first things you will notice when looking at a marimba, and they are the core of how the instrument works. The Frame For equilibrium, you can balance or stabilize this by using the rest of the index finger, and some of the thumb and middle finger, to create a balanced pressure throughout the length of the bar. The Amount of Pressure on the Bar, Against the Strings a b Teleproduction Test Volume 3 Number 4 - DIGITAL VIDEO LEVELS (PDF). Leader Instruments Corporation. p.6. Archived from the original (PDF) on 2022-02-22. When practicing bar control, there are numerous aspects at play that you can keep in mind. These different parts combine to make up how you control the bar, and what the resulting sound is. A friend of ours at the "Grand Old Opry" started using one of our bars on his pedal steel. All the other steel players were trying to figure out what it was that he had changed in his steel to so improve the sound...andLater RP 219:2002 became RP 219-1:2014, with RP 219-2:2016 [28] and ARIB STD-B66 [29] adding details for UHD. ITU-R Rec. BT.2111 [30] and ARIB STD-B72 [31] further added PQ and HLG HDR transfer functions. Hi Basil..... At last my bar was in may post box! But there is something strange going on! The´first bar has copied it self??? The copy looks almost like the first one or the other way Goldberg, A. A. (June 30, 1977). "A Monitor Alignment Color Bar Test Signal" (PDF). Proceedings, 31st Annual Broadcast Engineering Conference, National Association of Broadcasters. 31: 84–85. Gas Spring. A height adjustment feature that allows for the most comfortable playing position for different players.

Kudos to Basil Henriques's bar that I used over the weekend. The more I used it the more that I came to the conclusion that it has really improved my tone. I am not on commission (yet - ha) and can truthfully say that this item is one of the biggest game changers for steel players that they can get for the money. An absolutely brilliant product. Tone is so important to me, and the Ezee Slide tone bar is definitely the way to go. Professional Series - available with kettle made of fiberglass or copper, with infinitely adjustable pedal and Pro-Tuning gauge We sell the new 220 volt vibraphone motor with the associated motor control unit for your MUSSER vibraphone. We also offer the conversion older MUSSER vibraphones from the 110 volt version, which is no longer permitted in Europe, to 220 volt operation without a transformer. The bar is great, no need to worry about any modifications. As some of your other users have already commented there is a noticeable warmness to the tone on the unwound strings which I really like and prefer. It will definitely be first choice from now on. Plus being white it looks cool with the white guitarThis will be recommended by me to my steeling friends. I will for sure take a small video to put up on FB for all steelers to see and hear later! The contribution of ladder bracing to the strength or acoustic performance of the instrument was minimal. Transverse bracing was in use till 1960 when Japanese X-braced instruments wiped them out. Fan Bracing Depending on the age and quality of the marimba in question, the frame can consist of wood or metal. I received my Ezzee-slide from Basil Henriques and can't tell how much I love it!!!! It's a huge upgrade from my BJS bar!!! Wow good job mr Henriques! V class bracing style was developed by Andy Powers from Taylor guitars. It results in louder and longer-sustaining notes in the acoustic guitar. Andy Powers had earlier successfully developed the Advanced Performance Bracing used in the 800 Series of Taylors and wanted to overcome the limitations of the traditional guitar bracing systems with a completely new bracing design.

This straightness is the same straightness of the fret lines; when straight in a position the bar is usually parallel to these lines or markers. This will entail accurate intonation, control of the bar for vibrato, as well as peace of mind. Digital test images generated following the RP 219:2002 specifications and adapted to perfectly fit 114 standard and non-standard resolutions for both 16bpp and 8bpp, are freely available in the COLOR dataset of the TESTIMAGES archive. Scheerhorn Bar

attached to the A and B pedals - these strings sustain tremendous wear. Occasionally, the quality of a batch of strings may be below par, Note: Values sourced from " Leader Teleproduction Test Volume 3 Number 4 - Digital Video Levels" [24]

Top bracing provides stiffness to the top and prevents it from damage against the string tension. These braces transmit the string forces from the bridge to the rim of the instrument. The bracings are designed by the luthiers to allow the top to provide a full response to the tones generated by the strings while allowing minimal distortion to it. Even though a lot can be played in just one position of the fretboard (especially with the convenience of pedals), keep in mind that steel guitar was born in a tradition of controlling the bar and using it to emit many sounds in many positions. Rolling or stirring the bar in a more circular motion can give the vibrato a warmer, smoother, rounded sound. Usually round bars are easier to use for creating this type of vibrato, however any type of bar is often capable of voicing either type of vibrato. However, the strength of the bracing is reduced, leading to arching or bellying of the tops of the bridge upwards. The effect became more pronounced with the advent of the steel-string guitars. Martin discontinued shaving the braces and moved the crossing point of the two braces away from the soundhole and nearer to the bridge.Resonators. The length of these metallic tubes is specific to each note, optimizing the projection of each tone bar. Although color bars were originally designed to calibrate analog NTSC equipment, they remain widely used in transmission and within modern digital television facilities. In the current context color bars are used to maintain accurate chroma and luminance levels in CRT, LCD, LED, plasma, and other video displays, as well as duplication, satellite, fiber-optic and microwave transmission, and television and webcast equipment.
