About this deal

Inevitably, the Brown Astronaut and Spacebaby have dominated discussion around this whole series of Collectable Minifigures. The astronaut from Classic Space was available in five colours between 1978 and 1984 and several more have been introduced recently. Reddish brown is an unusual colour for an astronaut, but something distinctive is welcome. These are super easy to feel for if you want to be freaky in your local store one last time before we are all banished by the box. My feeling advice is below. I love the billowy dress too, combining three shades of pink and featuring beautiful patterns that continue between the torso and skirt. The reverse is undecorated and may have benefitted from some printed creases, although the shaping alone is impressive. Moreover, I think dual-moulded arms would have been suitable here, as Rococo dresses often featured short sleeves.

And here’s a look at the complete boxes, which have 36 blind bags in them. Hopefully each box will have 3 complete sets like they normally do! High quality – For more than 6 decades, LEGO® building pieces have been made to ensure they are consistent, compatible and work every time We’ll never be able to make a purple Spaceman. Purple was retired several years ago. But you can soon make a dark-purple Spaceman. Spaceman n baby - feel for dad's airtank - I don't know how anyone who's ever had a dad or a baby can not just melt a little at this set. The fact that dad is 'crap-colored'- as someone put it - just makes it better. We Dads know where we stand. Ironically, that’s also the hand you’d hold a bow with, as the leather would protect your forearm from being chafed by the bowstring when you release an arrow. It’s also got to be challenging to fire a bow with a few pounds of squawky raptor clenched on one arm…I don’t think they triple-mold any legs at the moment. The short legs you refer to always have shorts and shoes in the same color, and are most likely dual-molded with just a band of color formed around the center of each leg. If they were actually triple-molded, we should have seen some tri-colored examples by now. Originally, when there were only two colors, white was American, and red was Russian. As they added new colors, it shifted to represent roles, but I know of two contradictory lists: A cool new T-Rex costume in the style of LEGO Tyrannosaurus Rex! Super cool and I can’t wait to get multiples! Orc But she has zero idea what Classic Space is or that it was my favorite LEGO theme when I was a kid, since I never told her. Also my childhood LEGO is stored at my parents' in the attic mostly, so she also can't draw any hints from my old collection there.

Additionally, I think the bright red hair is ill-suited to a mediaeval minifigure, as this shade seems dyed rather than natural. Maybe dark orange could have returned instead, having last appeared in 2014. The dark tan bow and accompanying falcon are also exclusive. This bird includes very little decoration, although the mould alone captures ample detail and I love the yellow beak. The shape of the head also resembles bigger LEGO dinosaurs, while the rubbery tail is correctly proportioned for a Tyrannosaurus rex. I think the head could be improved though, as the roaring and smiling expressions are very similar to other Collectable Minifigures. Perhaps this character could have worn a mask on one side of the head, forming the inside of a Tyrannosaurus' jaws. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t include the full rainbow as it can be completed right now. Airtanks and an old-school helmet in purple are coming in another 2023 set that I don’t have my hands on yet, but brown makes the eleventh color for the classic space torso, and is the sixth color to be added in the last decade (along with green, purple, pink, orange, and light-bluish grey). She may say that to you. But, I have a sneaking suspicion that the spaceman may also have some connection to her cool dad, AP. And I’ll be forever disappointed in any airport display that doesn’t include at least one koala ominously clutching the landing gear of a plane that’s about to take off.

LEGO has finally revealed the next wave of LEGO Collectible Minifigures with Series 24, featuring 12 new minifigures to collect, from a new Brown Spaceman (and Space Baby!) to a T-Rex Costume Fan, and more! This minifigure certainly appeals to older LEGO fans and perfectly matches other Classic Space astronauts, featuring their famous golden logo and a traditional smiling face. However, I wonder whether children, for whom Collectable Minifigures are primarily intended, may be disappointed with this relatively plain character. Ref - feel for cards, differs from spaceman because of airtank - 2 yellows on fig is a bit wierd, 3 yellows because of bad color in legs is too much. Still, love this fig. Big calcio fan. Her sexy-angry look reminds me of Mrs. StyleCounselor. I was disappointed with 71034 Collectable Minifigures Series 23 towards the end of last year, as the series felt jumbled and included relatively few outstanding characters. Thankfully, this series represents a definite return to form. Almost every minifigure is highly detailed and many portray long-overlooked subjects within the Collectable Minifigures theme, covering varied interests.

The Robot Warrior colors are a very strange combo to me. They should have gone with something more vibrant for the base other than white. Not a figure I want more than one of. What I have on display here is mainly my Modulars, Creator Expert cars, larger Technic sets from about 2010 to 2018, and some Ideas sets as well as MOCs. And more recently lots of train sets and accessory buildings from that German competitor that must not be named. ;-) LEGO Minifigures Series 24 has a release of 1 January 2023, and looks to be another fantastic series for longtime fans, or those new to collecting minifigures! Teal legs visually balance that hair wrap and I love the dark orange hands, doubtless encrusted with clay. However, poor colour matching greatly affects this minifigure, as her printed apron was intended to correspond with the nougat hips, but looks like a completely different shade. Among various LEGO quality issues, improving the consistency of printed colours must be a priority.Since the beginning of 2021, each series of Collectable Minifigures has contained twelve figures and each box has included 36 minifigures. This series is no different and the box contains three complete series. Minifigures Another, more recent, Castle faction is represented by the Orc. Trolls appeared in various sets from the Fantasy Era subtheme, distinguished by their sand green skin, pronounced lower teeth and rugged equipment. Olive green replaces sand green for this minifigure, although the leather straps and updated Troll emblem are recognisable from the faction introduced in 2007. Like sporting characters, robots appear frequently among Collectable Minifigures and the Robot Warrior looks marvellous. The minifigure takes obvious influence from anime, consisting almost exclusively of geometric shapes. I love the yellow eyes peering through the helmet and the sand green colour is attractive, matching the chest armour.
