About this deal

Humiliation Conga: Rose has it rough during the second half of the story, when her desperation to separate Ripley from Zeronis reaches an all-time high. She has Ripley kidnapped and forces her to write a breakup letter to Zeronis, only for him to see right through it and rescue Ripley. He then threatens Rose’s father into sending her to an abbey, a Fate Worse than Death for her. Finally escaping thanks to her father bribing the abbey, Rose sneaks into Zeronis’s mansion as a maid and tries to stab Ripley and Sylvia, only to set the mansion, and herself, on fire. When Ripley next finds her, she is living in delirium in the slums with burns so severe she wears a cloak at all times, and spends her days hallucinating that she is a duchess. Ripley only spares her from being executed because the original Ripley wouldn’t want her old friend to suffer (and she’s too far gone for punishment to matter). To be honest, I didn’t even know I was inside a novel. I just thought, Oh, I must be dreaming. It wasn’t possible for me, someone who lived in a closet-like studio apartment, to be lying on this fluffy bed with flowy curtains. I was relieved when a glass of water appeared in front of my eyes. It seemed I wasn’t alone after all. I tried to sit up, and someone held my arm and politely supported me. It was probably Sylvia—the so-called maid I’d met yesterday. Oh, of course!” I replied about five seconds too late, because I had forgotten who I was while stuffing my face with macarons. And I turned around to see…

Todo parece ir bien hasta que, en una fiesta, Ripley bebe un poco de más y se despierta a la mañana siguiente en la cama del duque. Significant Green-Eyed Redhead: Ripley has flaming red hair and bright green eyes, standing out amongst the majority of blond-haired, blue-eyed cast. Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: Rose is able to get away with a lot of the offenses she causes because her father is wealthy and has connections. She literally paid off the abbey she was sent to for kidnapping Ripley so she could escape and try to kill her once more. Cruel Mercy: Ripley does this twice to Rose. The first time was after the kidnapping incident; Ripley tells Rose she begged Zeronis not to kill Rose or destroy the Jenkinson family, but Rose must live in an abbey for the rest of her life, which Rose sees as a Fate Worse than Death. The second time was after the fire; Ripley and Sylvia find Rose burnt and insane, believing she is a duchess and living on rotten foods in the slums. While Sylvia wants to tell Zeronis and have Rose executed, Ripley decides to let her live as the original Ripley would have wanted her to live on.Then do you mean…the one who was once a poor orphan but happened to save the baron’s life and was adopted into his family? That Miss Etoile?” The romance is pretty shallow (she's the first to be kind to him so he's devoted to her, and why wouldn't she like him), but it's nice to see two characters love and care for each other so it's not bad. Now engaged to the handsome, but obsessive, male lead, Ripley must find a way to get Zeronis and Etoile together as they should be. Coupled with the novel's villainess making her moves against her and her own budding feelings, Ripley may not be able to escape this mishap as easily as she thought she could. The comments don't help here either — the first top comment that confronted this issue (ep.11) was heavily downvoted compared to comments complimenting the duke & there were people actually trying to argue that "it's not a big deal". That creator actually brainwashed those readers.

It was a lovely ball. Beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemen were enjoying the music and dancing in perfect harmony. You sure are acting a bit strange today, my lady… Oh, and what do you want for breakfast? Would you like the usual—cream soup with carrot juice?” His smirk could only mean one thing. I looked at his sexy smile and thought to myself, I’m screwed. Storyline: A handsome, selfish noble falls for a beautiful, kind commoner -- at least, that’s how the story’s supposed to go. When an average college student wakes up as Ripley, an extra in her favorite romance novel, she resolves to enjoy the luxuries of her character’s status while watching the novel's plot unfold from the sidelines.

Etoile de Harley

The First Night With the Duke: Maybe: Interactive Stories which is a visual novel app based on that work. I couldn’t dance, obviously. How could an average twenty-two-year-old university student from South Korea know how to ballroom dance? So instead, I quietly ate some delicious food in a corner and pondered my situation. Genki Girl: Ripley is enthusiastic about everything and is always keeping herself busy, from her business to parties. While I mainly touched on the reasons this isn't a ten - the art, comedy, and likeable characters make this an overall good read. Bed Mate Reveal: Ripley wakes up to find a hot blonde dude watching her sleep in the same bed, and she realizes that they spent the night together in his mansion.

El ritmo de la lectura no es siempre igual, hay momentos en los que necesitas beberte los capítulos y otros momentos en los que llega incluso a ser pesada. Yo igualmente recomiendo seguir leyendo, los últimos capítulos prometo que son oro.

Ripley’s Friends and Family

By any chance, do you mean…the one with blond hair the color of honey, eyes like a deep-blue lake, and lips even redder than blood? That Etoile de Hailey?” Magnificent Bastard: Though he's the male lead in both the original story and this story, Zeronis is no Guile Hero. He's a charismatic, devious, noble who manipulates and threatens his enemies and allies alike, with the singular goal of protecting the person he loves. Ripley's appearance softened his more malicious traits, but he's still quite good at playing others and getting what he wants from others using his wits and charm alone. Edit: I'll also add the manhua plot. Manhwa (korean manga), Manhua (chinese manga). As I've read both, they have a similarities in their plot. It's either the FL is OP or FL is damsel in distress. At least not all manhwa is the same as manhua so it's fine..
